just a thing
Personal Portrait,
I’m making a Panzer Dragoon based tarot deck. Hopefully I can make a print of these once i’m done.
1. The Dragon
The Dragon is a powerful pure-type monster from an ancient age. Its strength is a reminder of a once powerful age and its appearance in the sky is an omen, a prophetic message of things to come. Those who bear witness to The Dragon are bound almost by fate to a greater purpose.
The Dragon represents the coming of change, personal growth, and pilgrimage. Those who have the Dragon should be weary of the coming trials of the future and the mechanization of powerful enemies.
just another batch of sketches, i haven't worked traditionally in a while, so have a messy doodle
A slight update from my old sketch, I wasn't particularly happy about the head. A little too mammalian but i wanted to maintain a a few recognizable bits from the old design. Out of all of my alien designs they've changed the most from their initial concept sketches.
The Imsee are a race of aliens, I've been working on for a little while now for a world-building project called Union Station, an extra-firm scifi setting which is a lot of things, but is strongly inspired by DS9, and among other things. The Imsee are one of the core founding species of the setting and are essentially responsible for uplifting multiple alien races prior to encountering humans.
Just a chill lichenite lounging around. Decided to draw a full body lichenite to get an idea of what their suits look like. Underneath it all lichenites look like regular humans but have slits across their body which allows their suits to intravenously connect to their bodies.
The suit itself is grown rather than manufactured and tends to look like a nest of bandage wraps in its immature form. Young lichenites are placed within them soon after birth as they can't survive on their homeworld without it.
alright, finally finished the vreem page. Just a little side note, smart-plants aren't actually plants in the traditional plants. They have more in common with animals and fungi physiology wise than they to to most terrestrial earth plants. So they have a rudimentary nervous system. I'll get around to drawing them eventually once i get a better idea of what the vreem homeworld is like.
The Gates of Mul'Dingir
The City of the Gods,
Prior to their downfall at the hands of the archons, the Seer watched the world from their golden city. There, they wove tapestries of life and spun the great wheel of the world machine to move the heavens. When the cosmos grew large and their number few they created the servants, the first angels to work on their behalf. Unfortunately such a decision would lead to their demise.
Just some art from a fantasy world building project that's been in the back burner for a while. This is old art I drew years ago, finally got around to posting it here.
