Luisa walked into her bedroom, exhausted from her day. Although the work wasn't physically exhausting it still took a mental toll on her. She plopped on her bed face first, letting the soft blankets and warmth envelop her tired figure.

As she let her body fall onto the covers she heard a muffled "oof" from beneath her. She went wide-eyed, practically jumping off the bed in surprise.

You sat up, a flustered on your face as you looked up at your girlfriend from your position. You sat with the blankets wrapped around your figure, giving Luisa a gentle smile and small wave. "sorry, mi vida, I fell asleep waiting for you to come home," you giggled.

Luisa let out a relieved laugh, taking a seat next to you on the bed. She laid on her back, pulling you on top of her chest. "I missed you," Luisa sleepily whispered, placing a quick kiss on your lips.

"I missed you more," you replied, returning the kiss.

Luisa hadn't felt so relaxed in a while. She couldn't think of anything better than a quiet evening with you, sharing comfortable silence as the two of you were able to let go of the stress from daily life.

This gesture made Luisa sit up from her spot on the bed, her hands rubbing up and down your thighs as the two of you looked into one another's eyes.

It was a particularly relaxing summer evening that day. Sevika decided to crack open Silco’s window so the occasional warm breeze could waft through. Sometimes, if you were extra quiet, you could hear the firelights chirping in the distance.

You and Sevika were cuddled up together on Silco’s plush, velvety couch. You rested your head in her lap, your hand intertwining with hers. You were both a little bit tipsy. Sevika had a long day at work, and you dropped by to visit her. Silco had a spare bottle of whiskey that he forgot to stow away and now here you two were.

You were giggling uncontrollably, reaching up to play with Sevika’s hair. She would prevent you from doing this by grabbing your wrist, and then kissing all over your face.

“Hey, you..” you muttered drunkenly, gently stroking the side of her face.

“What is it?” she asked, returning the favor by rubbing teasing circles all over your neck.

You gasped in surprise when she scooped you up from under your thighs, pushing you up against the wall as she made out with you even harder than she was before.

“If we were to not work out, not only would I lose her, I would lose my best friend.”

“And this is why you keep loosing at chess. You don’t take risks.” You shook your head slightly.

“Am I to take this as you giving your blessing then?” You asked, wanting it to be 100 percent clear before you took the plunge.

“Obviously.” She said. “She was supposed to be fixing a wall in the church.” Isa added, indicating with her eyes to the door. You sighed and stood up. “Don’t come back until you’ve asked her.” She called after you.

You made your way to the church, and felt a pang of disappointment at the lack of work being done.

“That would be just about right if I managed to miss her.” You mumbled.

“Miss who?” A familiar voice asked.

“Ah, Luisa, you’re just the Madrigal I was looking for.” You said, spinning to face her. She held a boulder in one arm, a broken beam in the other. “Oh, your busy. It can wait.” You added, stepping out of her way.

“Actually, I’m just going to the edge of town, if you’d like to come with. It’s not like I’m in a rush or anything.” She said, a slight blush starting to appear on her cheeks.

“If you don’t mind.” You agreed. Luisa walked a little slower than normal so that you didn’t have to run to keep up.

“I, uh, thought you were hanging out with my sister today.” She said, trying to make conversation.

“I was, but she sent me here to talk to you.”

“Oh? What about?”

“Well, your crush on me isn’t exactly subtle.” You said calmly. She flinched slightly.

“I, uh, yeah about that. I wasn’t planning on bothering you about that, I know you and Isa are close and that would just make it weird.” She put the boulder and beam down on the garbage heap.

“That’s what I said. But she informed I wasn’t allowed to spend anymore time with her until I had asked you out.”

“Yeah, so sor- wait what?” Luisa did a double take. You smiled gently at her.

“Will you go on a date with me?” You asked more clearly. Luisa’s eyes widened and she slowly began to grin.

“Yeah, I mean, yes! I’d love you. Love to! Love to!” You smiled and stepped closer.

“I’ve been a little curious about something.” You leaned forward.

“What?” She asked, looking at your face, her breathing a little fast.

“I’d like to kiss you.” Her eyelashes fluttered as she leaned down. You shared breath for just a moment before your lips brushed hers.

“Wow.” She breathed when you pulled away. You smiled and offered her your hand.

“Walk me back?” You requested.

“Sure.”
