Charlie Weasley x fem!reader
Word count:Â 2.5k
Summary: there’s nothing like the rumors that students can come up with about their favorite teachers. especially when one of them is adamant on keeping her private life, well, private.Â
Warnings: brief mentions of meals, one curse word but that’s it
A/N: a purely self-indulgent, fluffy fic inspired by this ask from kendall ( @lupinsclassroom ) who said that if i taught at hogwarts, i’d be the COMC professor! and i love me some good charlie content. this is also kind of a different style that i’m used to, i hope you guys like it! x

The top three favorite professors at Hogwarts were as follows: Headmistress McGonagall, Professor Longbottom, and Professor L/N.Â
While most students would argue that Professor L/N could potentially overtake Professor Longbottom on that list, there was just so much they didn’t know about her. She was practically the perfect professor; she loved what she taught (Care of Magical Creatures), she was considerate and understanding with students who were struggling with the subject, and her office doors were always open to anyone who wanted to chat.Â
Still, she kept her personal life very private and of course, the more she refused to answer their prying questions, the more intrigued the students became. All they knew was that she was one of the top students of her year, she was a Ravenclaw, and she fought at the Battle of Hogwarts years prior.Â
There were many rumors going around the student body of Hogwarts about who Y/N L/N was. The most popular ones were that she was actually Headmistress McGonagall’s secret daughter, because of how close the two seemed to be. In reality, Y/N was just one of Minnie’s favorite students. The headmistress often joked how she should’ve been in her house instead of Filius’.Â

stop telling your teenage daughters who say they don’t want kids that they’ll change their mind
"That’s what I’m talking about."

reblogging again because Louis
ALIEN is about a megacorporation coercing some salvagers into transporting a dangerous creature without telling them what it is, all because the creature could be a great bioweapon for them. When a survivor of this failed transport mission wants reparations, they screw her over to avoid a scandal.
ROBOCOP is about another mega-corporation experimenting with a cop's body and declaring him their property, trying to reduce him to an obedient killing machine who can maintain the status quo for them.
JURASSIC PARK is about a rich billionaire going all out to make a dinosaur-themed amusement park, not caring about the real-world implications of resurrecting giant lizards. He also underpays ONE guy to maintain the entire park's security systems so predictably, that one guy betrays him at a crucial moment.
The best movies weave their politics with plot & character, so you can enjoy them as entertainment but can also notice the themes. Movies without themes wind up being all spectacle and no substance, just noise and color like Michael Bay's Transformers franchise. Yeah, they make money, but they'll be forgotten in 2 generations.

Okay, so we left about 7:30 this morning to drive to my mom's friend and pick her up (in this awesome rental car we have whoop!) and get started on our road trip!
We got to Tennessee around 1:05, and our tour was at 1:30, so we went inside the visitors center and walked around there, (got such a cute picture) and kind of got the feel of what the campus was really about.
We started with a 20 minute presentation with a guy named Michael about the logistics of the school and scholarships and student life and what not.
Then we got our tour guide, named Megan, and she came and gave us buttons that say future vol (which is short for volunteers btw took me a while) and have our name on it. It was super official, and freaked me out. I mean, I already have my name on something that says "Future vol??"
Then we got on a bus ride, and took about 20 minutes with Megan pointing out things to us along the way. I didn't like it very much though, because you couldn't really see out of the window where I was sitting. Bummer. it was kind of cool listening to her talk because she is a senior in a PR (Public Relations) major which is what I want to get into! Then we got off the bus and had an hour long walking session. We first walked to the residential buildings that they had (the oldest ones they had that Megan told us where build in the 1960s, and were going to be tore down in the next 5 years). The dorms were a comfortable size, though the bathrooms were a little small.
Then we walked to another dorm, passed a Catholic Church and the Catholic meeting place (and Baptist house etc.) and went to their huge library that has so much its almost too much.
Then we drove a little over 4 hours to Georgia, and are staying in a Best Western that was given 7 stars... though it should probably have been 4 with what we're seeing.
So now I'm typing this all out and thinking about my day, making my pros and cons list for Tennessee, and all of this is so crazy. I can't believe that I even have to start thinking about college. Its crazy, and its bothering me.
Anyways, off to sleep and have a bright new day, and a new tour around Georgia! Go Bulldogs?
