Pinhead explorations Last year I spent some time doing concept art for the recently released Hellraiser movie. I had to wait a year to be able to share these, but I'm really excited to finally be able to!

The really fleshy direction for Pinhead was in play really early, but I wanted to poke around all the possible ideas to make sure we had eyes on all of them before everything was settled. It's worth noting that this was before the part was cast, so there wasn't an opportunity to consider Jamie Clayton's face or body type.

I'm hoping it comes through in these paintings, I was trying to make Pinhead as sexy as possible while also being as gross as possible. Working to integrate deeply opposing traits is always so much fun and why I find this character so compelling.

I hit my post limit but I love your art so much!!!! I love how much you characterize the people you are drawing they feel so big!!

My favorite example is when Spot drops a Spanish journal on Mile's head 🤣 incredible incredible use of their backgrounds for a single scene. So good

If I hadn't reached my post limit I'd of reblogged everything you've posted, which is definitely going to happen once the floodgates (my post limit) is removed

They did not let me know! I am slightly horrified hahaha.... I just post art for fun and to practice, it feels like someone shining a light on my terrible little tries but that’s exciting, and I do like the ones they chose
