Ninjago Rewrite
Working on a Ninjago Rewrite There's some stuff that happens before the series even starts so here they are
Morro was being mentored by Wu but ran away. He is Misako’s brother’s son, making him Lloyd’s cousin. He ends up dying at the age of 19. Cole and Jay are childhood friends, meeting at the age of 6 and 7. When Jay was 9 and Cole was 10, Jay got ran over by a car and lost his left leg, he ended up getting a prosthetic. Cole was traumatized when it happened. Every year, during the anniversary of that event, they put stickers on Jay’s leg. Kai and Nya lost their parents at the age of 6 and 4. They have a dog named STick that Kai got when he was 5. STick is a weird dog, having a much higher intelligence than other dogs and some humans! Zane grew up with Dr. Julien and the past elemental of ice. The elemental master of ice eventually ends up dying but he gives Zane his power before he does. Zane doesn’t lose his memories here either. He’s half nindroid and half human, more nindroid than human. He was in an accident and had gotten lost in the forest. The elemental master of ice and Dr. Julien find him and take him in, and in an attempt to save his life, Dr. Julien replaces some of his body parts with robotic parts. Lloyd never got aged up during season 2 because he’s gonna be the same age as the others. He was abandoned by Misako while Garmadon was banished to the Underworld. He was abandoned at Darkley’s Boarding School For Bad Boys Kids. He meets Brad, Gene and Sally and they have their own sort of group where they go piss off the teachers. Lar exists! Wow! So, there’s some weird thing where sometimes, elemental powers can split between two people. This happened with the water element, it split between Lar and Nya. When Lar was born, he was a surprise. Ray and Maya couldn’t afford to support another kid so he was given away to a family friend, Dr. Saunders. But when Nya was born, they could so she stayed with her parents. Lar dyes his hair blonde when he gets older, he actually has brown hair like Kai.

We're here to see who is the most favourable, not the best!! But the most favourable character who uses primarily Electricity/Lightning within their character!!!

1. No real people please or live action characters please.
2. Please submit a character once. However, feel free to submit different characters as much as you'd like.
3. Characters must canonically fit into at least one of the 3 following categories:
a) A true Lightning Elemental. Electricity/Lightning is incorporated into their design and they are essentially either made of electricity/lightning or have electricity/lightning as part of their core design. Light may also fulfill this rule, I will decide on a case-by-case basis so it’s worth submitting them anyway. (Example: Yellow ChuChus From The Legend Of Zelda)
b) Lightning powers. Essentially, Electrokinesis or something similar involving electricity/lightning. Technology/Robotic characters, Light, and Speed based characters may fulfill this and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. (Example: Sailor Jupiter from Sailor Moon)
c) Associated strongly with Lightning/Electricity. A character who is constantly electrocuting things, uses weapons that can exert an electrical charge, is obsessed with electricty/lightning, or something similar. (Example: Mitsune Miwa from Magia Record)

I also have every right, as host of this tournament, to deny any character submitted.

jay and cole are childhood friends jay would go with cole to his dance lessons so he isn't lonely As they got older, Cole started to like Jay but then Jay fell in love with Nya and Cole got jealous. But at the same time, he was kind of in denial and told himself that it was because he liked Nya so when she started to flirt with him, he went along with it, telling himself that this is what he wanted. Even if it didn't exactly feel right. Then the fight at Chen's Island happened and Cole realized he liked Jay. He wanted to tell Jay this but decided that he would be happier with Nya so Cole apologized and they became friends again, Jay never finding out that Cole actually liked him.

Thundertown looks like it could’ve been one of the coolest places in Ninjago
Oooo imagine if they made it a Jay season and explored some stuff about his birth mom and actually gave him character development (looking at you, S12) and maybe explored his powers a bit, basically Master of The Mountain, but with Jay. It would’ve been really cool, but repetitive. But cool.
And I REALLY wanna see Thundertown on screen, it’s such an awesome location

i was in a thrift shop the other day and they were playing the most unsettling variations of normal christmas music, culminating in this rendition of the 12 days of christmas except it was like 12 guys all singing over each other and going “no!” and interrupting the lyrics with random other phrases until they deadass just started singing 5 golden rings to toto’s africa. can anyone confirm that this is a real song and not that i stroked so hard i astral projected into a universe where everything is somehow worse than it is here

Sure, she had UV and Killow and the rest of the S.O.G gang, but sometimes, I just want to hc that Mr. E was the only one Harumi really, actually, opened up to.
So this hc is just that they were besties bc she rescued him from the lighthouse and he didnt judge her at all so she found him easy to talk to.

bruh my stupid brain literally thought that elemental masters gradually got their power over time.
like when they were a baby, they couldnt do anything. When they were a toddler, they could do some stuff. When they were a kid, they could start to be able to control it kinda. And teenagers could fully control their powers but would get tired after using it. Adults could use their powers without any problems.
yeah well i saw a post where it was like "oh i hc that ems gradually get their power over time" and i was like "t-thats not a hc... thats canon" but then i rewatched season 1 only to realize that they had to unlock their true potential to gain their powers.

i put this on my last acc but uh, the idea that lighting was an element that belonged to wojira
wind, water, and lightning elements have nightmares of wojira, who wants her powers back. Lightning ems have it the worst, wind ems are okay??? and water ems are in between
Libby had these nightmares and she was kinda becoming insane. Jay had already been born and Cliff was scared that Jay might get hurt due to Libby not being in the right state of mind. Knowing, however, that Jay would probably get these insanely realistic nightmares too one day, they were also fearing for others' saftey. So they dropped Jay off at with a couple who lived far away from Ninjago city, the Walkers.
Jay grew up with them and actually didn't get these nightmares until later on in his life, which was around age 9. I also hc Jay to have protothestic legs due to a car accident. After recovering, thats when he got the first nightmare. He never told anyone and he'd usually forget about it later on due to his tendancy to make jokes and stuff, distracting him from the dreams. This is also around the time he started zapping himself when he slept. However, around the 5th season, Lloyd getting possessed, Zane having recently "died", blah blah, he kept dreaming of them. This serpent kept replaying memories of it happening and stuff.
When skybound came along, everything went downhill. Basically everything got worse, he couldnt go a night without having those dreams, and Wu, noticing how Jay would act, remembering how Libby acted, gave him some magic tea. It was the same tea that blocked Libby's nightmares for a while. Basically, it blocked the user's ability to have any dreams. At all. No dreams means no Wojira. Libby used to take it when she was younger. But she stopped due to her actually being allergic to the tea leaves. Lucky for Jay, it worked. He got the tea around season 10, because he was just so anxious during that time (cole fell, the skybound mural just reminding him of all that trauma, etc). So Wu was easily able to tell something was wrong. Now, it's a thing he takes every 5 days.
