I've seen people say that Jessica doesn't care enough about Gwen. That she didn't do anything to help her. But the truth is, Jess was the only parental figure Gwen had. Willingly.

I am not saying that she was like a mother to her, no. That is not true.

But she cared enough to be present in Gwen's life. The only adult who spends time with her. Who checks on her. Who acts a little bit like a parent.

She drew a line.

She wasn't Gwen's mother, but neither just a mentor.

Jess helped her more than any other adult ever did.

And she cares.

And if anyone says that Jess didn't, I'll just let those here. Just in case

I know we're all excited for Gwen and Miles to kiss in Beyond, but honestly I feel almost as excited for the two of them to share a very emotional/angsty hug before we get to any kissing.

You know the kind of hug where the characters just cling to each other and maybe cry a little and just stay in the hug for like a solid minute or so. We need that hug please.
