When Hannah’s father is out of town (or village, so to speak) to expand his trading empire, it is her responsibility to manage business at home. This includes buying the plundered goods off of vikings.

Her best customer by far is Kim, who responsible for burning multiple villages to the ground yet still surprisingly friendly when it comes to casual conversations. When the viking queen’s visits become more frequent, the goods she brings to sell increasingly valuable and the deals she accepts for them almost ridiculous, Hannah starts to get the feeling that it is not primarily her father’s business that Kim seeks.
