Abood and his wife Maria are struggling to survive the genocide in Ghazzah together since last year.

The home where Abood lived and the clothing store where he worked were both destroyed. He's since been displaced over 10 times, and now lives in a tent with his wife.

The tent is small and does barely anything to protect from the weather. The extreme heat during the summer and the abundance of insects have caused Maria to become very sick. Unfortunately, due to the conditions in Ghazzah, Abood is unable to access medical care for her.

In order to evacuate, they need to raise $40,000 USD. So far, they've raised $36,239; they're getting very close but still need more support!

Do other people in the world really believe the genocide is over or that conditions have improved? They began starving the North in March last year and then continued to starve the whole Strip for a year and now they are starving the whole Gaza Strip again this March, in Ramadan.

Genocide is an act of collective punishment and neglect of the most essential life sources.

In reality they began committing genocide against the people of Gaza the day that the siege on Gaza was imposed. What we continue to witness since Oct 7th is only the same genocide accelerated which I will never stop repeating.

Not only that, the murder by aircraft has not stopped. israel's fascist death machines are still hovering and threatening and firing and killing people in their tents, in their damaged homes, in cars, at people trying to rebuild...their thirst for Palestinian blood is literally infinite.

Even if the fire stopped, it would still be genocide. There is no such thing as an israeli ceasefire because they practice murder by freezing and starving and medically neglecting and physically and psychologically torturing Palestinians too.

Even the Smallest Kindness Can Change a Life 💙

Every day, I try to remind myself that we are still here. That despite everything we have lost, we are still breathing, still holding on. But some days, that is harder than others.

I lost 25 family members in a single moment. I can still hear their laughter, still see their faces when I close my eyes. But they are gone, and nothing will bring them back.

Our home, the place that held every memory, every moment of comfort, is nothing but rubble. We have been displaced over and over, searching for safety, searching for something that feels like home.

💔 Each day is a battle for survival. 💔 Each night is a reminder of who is missing. 💔 And yet, kindness still finds us.

Thanks to the generosity of people who have never met me, we have now reached $2,500. It is a small step in a long journey, but it is a step forward. And that means everything.

The fierce winds have torn apart the roof of our tent, and heavy rain has flooded everything around us. Now, we live in our torn tent, with my little child shivering in my arms, and my sick mother in law struggling to withstand the biting cold that pierces our fragile bodies.

Every night, I wake up terrified multiple times, placing my hand on my child’s chest to make sure he is still breathing. The thought of losing him tears my heart apart with every passing minute. After seeing the news about children who died from extreme cold, the fear for our lives has become more real and frightening than ever. 😭💔
