My name is Resam, and I’m writing to you from Gaza 🇵🇸. I come to you with a heavy heart, feeling shy and apologetic for what I’m about to ask. But I have no other choice.
Life here has become unbearable after losing my husband in the war. I’ve lost not only part of my family but also my home, my safety—everything. Now, I live in a fragile tent with my children and my elderly mother, trying to survive each passing day.
Our tent is weak, barely holding up against the weather, and with winter storms approaching, we desperately need a stronger one. A new tent costs £1,000, and we simply don’t have the means. Beyond that, we dream of leaving Gaza to find safety, but the cost of such a journey feels insurmountable.
I don’t know if my family and I will make it through these hardships, but I am reaching out to you for help. Even a small donation of £10 or £20 could mean the difference between life and death for us. Every pound matters and brings us one step closer to safety.

The original novel Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions, is public domain, meaning it is completely free for literally anyone to read anywhere, in so many formats, including multiple audiobooks, animations, and a translation into 2024 English to make it easier to understand! All for free!
Please stop doing free advertising for a conservative bigot who makes money off his youtube channels.
Google "Ladd Ehlinger racism". And then tell your friends not to recommend his film.
The absolute bare minimum everyone should do is downvote the film on youtube. And stop recommending more people watch it as an introduction to Flatland. It is nothing of the sort, and literally just helps him get more attention to keep making more political ads so blatantly racist and misogynistic that Republicans literally had to condemn him for it.
Please. Stop telling people to watch the horrible 2007 film and start linking people to the endless numbers of ways to actually read the actual Flatland novel, or any of its many visual adaptations that are not made by conservative talk show hosts who make their money and fame on youtube.

This is our tent, its floor is made of cardboard, as you can see, and I suffer from severe eczema due to the pollution of the air and the materials used, and the medicine is very expensive.😭💔
