Albedo, for most of his life until now, had followed his master's orders through and through even down to the last one- to seek out the true meaning of life. With that said, his master left him all alone in a foreign land with nobody he could rely on.
Well, that was until he stepped foot in Mondstadt.
Mondstadt-- the city of freedom, bards, and love. A city with so many things to do. Surely, he could find the truth of this world there, yes?
He only had one goal in mind and he shall see his master's orders through until the end-- no added goals or distractions needed.
Easier said than done.
Mondstadt grew to be a challenge. That said, many distractions came along with it-- his new position as the chief alchemist, looking after Alice's daughter, Klee, teaching his students.. But none were more distracting than you.
The first visit was when he was still fairly knew to Mondstadt. You took care of him just as the other knights did, checking on him if he ever needed anything. He didn't think of anything of it. However, with each passing day, that gradually changes.
Albedo grew fond of you, starting from when he first knew of your name that left the lips of the Cavalry Captain. Now, you were something that he couldn't shake his mind off. He memorized every part of you-- the way your eyes shine and reflected him, making him feel as if he was the only one in your worlds, the way the corner of your lips pull upward every time you look at him, the way--
"Mr. Albedo, is there something the matter?" Oh, it seems that he has lost himself at the thought of you. "Ah, sorry. I must have creeped you out.." he mumbles and looks away. "Ah, no, you didn't. But is there something wrong?" you asked once more.
"No, nothing you need to concern with," he said. You didn't feel at rest, seeing that he has been quiet most days now as if he was in his own world.
Albedo notices this and sighs, resting a hand on your head. Soft. Your hair was soft and he could tell even through his gloves. "Rest assured. I am well, I promise," he smiles.
He looks at you with warm eyes that really calmed your thoughts. With a smile, you nod your head, returning to your work with cleaning up the mess Albedo left all the while having his eyes follow you.
Even if you were a distraction, you were a distraction he would happily have all his focus on and never leave. A perfect distraction from his thoughts of destroying Mondstadt one day.

Something was falling from the greyish clouds that has been slowly forming together over Liyue. It was white, cold, and too small for human eye to see. However, once multiples of it were gathered, you could truly see how it turned Liyue into a winter wonderland.
This sparks excitement inside you as you stare out the window of the shop you were tending at. The winds of Snezhnaya has finally brought their winter to Liyue, making it cold for the locals to idle outside for too long.
Seeing this, you did your long hours of work with great impatience, wanting to enjoy the snow with a particular someone all the way in the outskirts of the city-- in Wangshu Inn. You just know that he'll be the most excited between the two of you-- although he won't show it or say it.
"Have a good night!" That was the cue. Yes, it was evening by the time you got out of work, but your excitement left you restless and headed to the inn, greeting Verr Goldet and her husband in the lobby as soon as you got there. And not wanting to prolong you any longer, the woman simply pointed up the flight of stairs that leads to a highest level possible.
However, when you got there, there was not a single being to be seen. You didn't feel down though, knowing that he was probably off to secure the night around the inn and nearby places that doesn't have the protection of the Millelith.
You walked closer to the ledge, your eyes seeming to glow in admiration at the snow that covered Liyue in less than a day. But before you could put a hand on the railing, a "What are you doing here?" brought your attention behind you.
To nobody's surprise, Xiao stood there with his arms crossed, his eyes glowing in the dark, but not so much as the light from inside the inn emitted a brightight. "Xiao!" The name that left your lips was enough to make you smile. Though in his part, his eyes slightly narrows while a brow quirks in question, but that was long forgotten when he growls at the state you were in. "Where is your coat?" he asks, walking closer to you.
It was just then that you realized that you had forgotten to bring a coat and felt the harsh breeze stinging your skin. You wrapped your arms around yourself, rubbing your arms to create some sort of heat. "Ehe, I was rushing to get here so I forgot to go home and bring one," you admitted, the smile never leaving your face. This did not amuse the yaksha and clicks his tongue in dissatisfaction. "Even when a millennia has passed, humans can be so stupid," he grumbles. "Wait here." Before you could ask, he turns on his heels and went downstairs, leaving you alone in the cold.
When he returns- which didn't take long- he was carrying a wool blanket in one arm. Approaching your person, he wraps the blanket around you like a wrap. Warm and comfortable.
You look down at the blanket and slightly blushed at the thought that it could be warmer if he hugged you, wrapping his firm, strong, and protective arms around your shoulders-- Oh no, you shouldn't fantasise something like that.
Looking at your state, Xiao couldn't help but feel the warm, tingly sensation on his face. You looked cute and small. He almost wants to lock you away so that no one else would be able to see just how truly cute you were. However, he snaps himself from indulging the thought, realizing how inappropriate it was especially for an Adepti such as himself.
With hand covering his mouth, he clears his throat. "Anyway, what are you doing here?" he asks, his voice sounding cold, but you know that he meas well and that it was just the way he speaks. "I wanted to share the first snow with you!" you admit, your smile doubling the size.
He raises an eyebrow. "Huh? Share the first snow?" he repeats, to which you nod. "I heard that you should always spend the first snow with someone special." Hearing you reason, he sighs heavily. "You humans always come up with something stupid." He closes his eyes and crosses his arms.
"It's not stupid it's sweet!" you defended, the blanket slightly slipping off your shoulders. Xiao took notice and moved even closer to fix it, but afterwards, his hands haven't left your shoulders and he just stares at you. It was only 5 seconds, but you felt kind of awkward, eyes averting to anywhere but his charming face. "S, so, uh.. I came here to ask if you wanted to play in the snow with me.." you mumbled.
There was no response on the other end and it was only when your eyes returned to look directly at him that he quickly answers with an "Okay" before swooping you off the ground and jumped off from the inn. In fear, you wrapped your arms around his neck and hold on for dear life.
It only took a couple of seconds to reach the ground safely but to you, it felt like it was your end. Xiao looks at you and couldn't help but huff out a chuckle. "Hey, do you think I would drop you?" he asks, watching you open your eyes once you felt the rush of adrenaline subside.
You blinked twice and remembered how you are still hugging him. "Oh, uh.. Could you put me down?" you ask shyly, unwrapping your arms around his neck. He did as told, setting you back down gently.
Taking a look around, the snow stretched out for miles, up until the horizon where you could barely see a thing. Winter only comes once a year in Liyue and each year upon the look of snow would always leave you breathless. The snow in Liyue was much different than that in Snezhnaya as it wasn't knee-deep and children could still play around.
One step. Two step. Soon, you were running across the field and laughing. While on Xiao's part, he watches his foolish of a human with his arms cross and unknowingly to him, a smile adorns his face. His eyes softened at the sight of your smile. He always does, you just never noticed.
His eyes moves away from you and his attention was now transfixed to the snow on the ground. Seeing as he has cleared the area from enemies before meeting you at the inn, it was most likely safe for you to tumble and fall without getting the attention of monsters.
You stopped running and stood there looking at the falling snow, just about tired from running. You looked over Xiao and see that he was very focus at the snow beside him. He looked funny looking at the snow as if he was going to murder it.
Tearing your eyes away from the male and to the snow, you soon grabbed a handful of it with your bare hands and compacted it to a snowball. It was cold, but the urge to touch it was too much to take and would risk your health to play in it.
Happy with the ball, you run back to Xiao. "Hey, Xiao--" Your words were cut short when you saw Xiao pick up a handful of the snow and eat it. It wasn't all the uncommon for someone to eat snow but Xiao eating snow was truly something.
He turned his head towards you while having a snowball close to his mouth with a questioning gaze since you did originally wanted to grab his attention. "What?" he questions soon after when you just stood there like a mannequin.
"O, oh, yeah.." You blinked and regained your train of thought. "Anyway, do you want to have a snowball fight with me?" you asked, a challenging grin on your face. He raised a brow. A human asking an Adeptus to a snowball fight? It was obvious which would win so what was the point?
But seeing that smile on your face was hard to say no to. That glimmer in your eyes was intriguing, to say the least. So, he nods. "I won't go easy on you," he warns. "I didn't want you to in the first place." With that, you threw the first snow right on his face.
Even though he said he wouldn't go easy on you, he was actually much softer and let you hit him multiple times and only hitting you once or twice every now and then.
Once you had your hands on your knees, he figured that it was finally time that his human was exhausted. He walks over to you and when he was close enough, he fixed the blanket around you that surprisingly didn't fall off your shoulders.
You look at his beautiful, golden orbs that has now the time to truly glow in the dark. It was captivating. The atmosphere, the place-- everything in that moment had that magical, winter air. You two stood there, silently praising the other.
His eyes moved towards your lips, thinking how soft it would be when he places his own on it. With his hands still on your shoulders, he leans closer to your face before stopping short, his lips just a few centimetres away from yours. He was waiting to see if you would pull back.
Wanting his lips on yours, you closed the gap and felt a sudden warmth flush through your body. A hand of his made its way and caressed your cold skin, deepening the kiss. The kiss was enchanting and felt that it had been hours before you both pulled away.
When you did, a smile adorned your flushed face-- flushed from the intimate moment and from the cold. You slowly moved away and flopped down on the snow and laughed.
"Hey, you're going to get sick, you idiot," he states, crossing his arms as he watches your blanket unwrapped itself from your shoulders, now being used to keep your back dry. "Haha, no I won't! Not to be a brag, but I have a pretty strong body," you boast.
O how you felt embarrassed by those words that you said so proudly last night as you lay in bed, under layers of warm blanket. "Humans can be so stupid. Yesterday you were sure you wouldn't get sick but the next day, here I find you in bed," Xiao says, entering the room with a bowl of warm water and a washcloth.
When you didn't greet him this morning, he knew that you were sick and went to your house to take care of you immediately. "I said nothing," you spoke, holding your chin high as you feign ignorance.
He clicks his tongue but said nothing more, dipping the cloth in the warm water before squeezing it so water wouldn't be dripping on you. He moves closer to the bed and sat at the edge of it, moving any hair that covered your forehead before placing the cloth. "You should remember to bring your coat. I'm not always there to remind you like a mother," he said.
"Hey, if you're just going to bully me, then you can leave. I know I was dumb for not bringing one, okay?" You pout, though there wasn't any anger in your tone, and brought the blanket up until the bridge of your nose.
He looks at you for a short second and brought his fingers close to your face. Before you could guess what he was doing, he had flicked your forehead. "You idiot. Do you really think that I would be here in the first place if I didn't care about you?"
The words made you blush and felt a hundred times more warmer than the cloth on your head. He looks at you with a straight lip, but his eyes hinted at a different emotion. It was soft and held care for you.
He then stood up, eyes tearing away from you, and walked towards your door. With a hand on the handle, he twists it open but before he step out, he looks over his shoulders- to you- and said, "Make sure you get enough rest. I'll be here if you need me."

Malleus had never gone through a night where he dreamt. His life, despite being a prince and heir to his kingdom, was frankly ordinary. That is not to say that it was gloomy, no, but just that there wasn’t anything that excited or interested him– aside from looking at gargoyles.. And perhaps, you know, you.
Faes were powerful creatures that can bestow gifts on others so it was truly a laughable scenario that they couldn’t bestow a gift upon themselves such as having dreams. Not that Malleus cared of having one. He never once had been envious of another for dreaming but he was, in fact, curious. What are dreams? What do you see? What do they mean? Is there any meaning behind any of it all?
These were the common questions he would ask himself but his thoughts never lingered on the topic to pursue it.
So when the day came to an end and when he went to bed that night and dreamt, you could just as well guess how surprised he was, though nothing clicked yet at that moment and remained oblivious to the fact that he was having his first dream. But despite having revealed that, O’ how cruel of a fact it was that his first dream wasn’t a pleasant one.
Blinking once then twice with a mind slightly confused about how he got to where he was, he looks around his surroundings and sees that he was in his room. No, not the one in Diasomnia dormitory, but rather, his room back in the Valley of Thorns. But how? Did he chant a spell in his sleep that brought him here?
“Malleus..?” He whips his head behind him and by the window, there sat an ethereal beauty. “[Name]..?” His eyes widened in surprise, obviously not expecting you to be in the Valley of Thorns. He became more confused. How were both of you there? You didn’t seem confused like he was so did both of you come to the kingdom? When?
“Malleus, why are you looking at me like that?” You huffed an airy laugh. “You’re making me feel awkward..” Malleus shakes his thoughts away and focus on you. Maybe someone has done something to him and he’ll get the answers and help from Lilia– assuming that he’s somewhere in the castle.
“Ah, sorry..” He walks over to you and looks down at you, waiting patiently for whatever is to come next.
You pat your lap, clearly an indication of something, but the confused Malleus tilts his head. You close your eyes and smiled, obviously finding his questionable face funny. “Come, hold my hand.” The way you directed him with that smile of yours almost seemed as if you too were much closer than what he could recall. By far– according to his current memory– he was still your tsunotaro and you dared not call him any other. You calling him “Malleus” so intimately begs another question that he should’ve asked himself earlier– when did that change?
Nevertheless, he does what you said; getting down on one knee in front of you, he takes your hand in his, almost instinctively. Has he ever done this before with you?
You beamed in delight, making his heart flutter. However, he can’t help look at you and notice that– despite your beauty– how much paler and thinner you are compared to the ‘you’ in his memory.
He opens his mouth to speak but nothing came out. Just then, your reflex kicked in and brought your hand to your mouth. You were coughing harshly and then Malleus saw it– blood were staining your hands. He widened his eyes in panic and fear and just as he was about to do something, a knock was heard at the door which directed both of your attention away from each other and to whomever it was at the other side of the door. “My lord, we’re here.” Ah, it was Sebek.
Having not answered him– still in a panic state– you opted to answer the door. He opened the door and came with him was Silver an Lilia.
“Good evening, Malleus, [Name],” Lilia smiles upon entering the room, a hand on his hips. But despite his happy-go-lucky attitude, Malleus does sense that he was forcing himself. Lilia took one glance at you and his eyes widened. “Oh, dear..”
A dreadful feeling came to him when he notice that they were coming to where you two were– specifically with eyes set on you. With this feeling, he moves aside and watch as Lilia held your hand and guided you to the bed. “My lord, could you please step outside for a moment?” Silver ask. If he wasn’t close to him, Malleus wouldn’t have heard him with how soft he called him.
When the three men got outside of his door, he could hear both you and Lilia talking but could not make out much words. After a while of apprehensive waiting, the three could hear Lilia beckon them in.
Malleus’ head whipped immediately to where you lie on the bed in a new white nightgown since blood stained the other. You strained a weak and small smile and beckon him over once more with your hands. Just like before, he knelt on his knee and held the hand closest to him.
Staring at you with worried and questioning eyes, he can’t help but sense that at each passing second, you were slowly slipping away from this world– from him. “Lilia.. “ He finally manages to use his voice. “What.. What is the meaning of this?” he asks, eyes not once leaving you in fear that what little light you have in you eyes that suggests life was still in you would fade away.
“I’m sorry, Malleus.. But there isn’t anything we can do.. This is the curse of any living being..” Lilia pauses, unsure if he should just straight up say it.
“Death.”
His heart sunk. His eyes widened and tears were rapidly forming, pricking the corner of his eyes. Tears? It truly has been a while since he last had tears. “Malleus..” You call him softly, bringing him back from his shocked state.
You opted to continue smiling despite him knowing just how much pain you are going through. “I know it’ll hurt.. But please, stay strong and–” you coughed, though this one had no blood coming out from your mouth. This was thanks to Lilia who alleviate the pain of going through the process of death. “And live for the both of us..”
Malleus got up and sat down at the edge of the bed and wrapped his hand around your head to bring it close to him. He places a kiss on top of your head and left it there. You chuckle airily. “It’ll hurt you, I know.. But after this period of grief passes, promise me that you’ll smile and continue smiling,” you said but received no answer from the fae. “Malleus..” You pull away from him to get a better look. “Malleus, please promise me that you’ll smile in the future.. That you’ll find something or someone that brings you as much joy as I did to you.”
You cup his cheeks and wipe away the ongoing stream of tears. He shakes his head and you frown a bit. But before you could say anything, he opened his mouth to speak, “You are the only one in my heart and I want no other..” he protest. “But, I will continue to smile.. If that means that you’ll always be watching me.”
This brought a smile of your own and closed your eyes, clearly happy to hear it. He places his forehead on yours and held your face between his hands. “Malleus..?” You call him once more and he hums. “It was truly wonderful to get the chance to love and marry you..” His heart clenched. Married? You two were married and he can’t remember anything that led up to it. He felt much more guilty in knowing that he can’t remember whatever joyous things you two have done together that led up to marriage.
“I love you, Malleus.”
At your dying words, the world around him vanishes into the void which promptly woke him up. When he opened his eyes, he was staring at his bedroom ceiling in Diasmonia. Feeling something wet on his face, he draws hand to his face and realize that he had been crying.
He sat up and recalled what just happened. You.. You were dead.. Right? But if that was the case, he should be at his kingdom– with you! You died in his arms so how come he was in bed? “Malleus?” His head turned to his door and see Lilia leaning by the frame. Lilia’s eyes widened and rushes over to his bed and take his face in his hand, though he did not force him to look at him. “Malleus, what’s wrong?”
Lilia had heard sniffling coming from his prince’s room and was concerned. Malleus? Crying? He had seen his prince cry, yes, but that was when he was still a child so it was a surprise to see him cry at that moment. “Malleus, you have to tell me what’s wrong.”
Malleus thinks to himself, finding the words to tell him. “I..” He goes on to recall what had just happened and by the end of it, he receives a sympathetic smile from Lilia.
“Malleus.. Take a look around you. Are we back home in the Valley?” he asks, pulling his hands away. Malleus looks around and realize that no, he wasn’t in his castle. He shakes his head. “You are still a student at NRC, Malleus. We haven’t gone home with [Name],” he states. “What you had was a dream and only a dream.”
The prince looks at him. “A dream?” That was.. A dream? Is this what people dream about? Lilia nods. “Though I would say you had a nightmare instead,” he said bringing his finger to his chin.
“If it helps calm you, why don’t you reassure yourself and see that they’re truly in bed?” Lilia suggest, crimson eyes looking over at the horned fae. And he did just that.
Malleus makes his way to Ramshackle, taking a walk to relax his mind and heart and tell himself that you are well. When he got there, he contemplated on what he should do next. How should he check if you’re alright and, you know, alive? He didn’t want to interrupt your rest but..
He teleports inside your room. Eyes seeing past the darkness, he sees a lump in your blanket and he lets out a half-relaxed sigh, but who’s to say that it was something else under you blanket? He walks over to your bed and was beyond relief when he sees your familiar strands of hair, your face covered by the blanket.
But still, he didn’t feel like this was enough to calm him so he reaches a hand towards you– to hopefully have your warmth comfort him.
And with that feeling on you, your eyelids flutter open to reveal your alluring, gem-like eyes. You look over your shoulder and see green, glowing eyes staring right at you. You were about to scream, totally freaked out, but you hear Malleus’ voice. “Shh, I’m sorry to have suddenly woken you up, child of man.”
Still with a racing heart, you called him by his nickname. “Tsunotaro?” “Yes?” he answers and you sigh in relief. “Great Sevens– You scared me!” You say in a loud whisper since Grim was sleeping not too far from you. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. Anyway, why are you in my room?” you asked, sitting up on the bed. It took a moment, but he eventually answers, head resting on your shoulder. “I.. Had a nightmare,” he admits innocently, wrapping his arms around your waist. “And I was hoping if I could sleep with you..”
Malleus having a nightmare? That was something unexpected, though you are aware that people can get nightmares all the time. But a nightmare that made him want to seek you out at this dead of night? You know better than to ask him of this nightmare of his right now and will wait for him to tell you himself.
“Mn. I guess you can.. But I apologize beforehand since my bed isn’t as big or comfy as yours back in Diasomnia,” you said and pat his head. He shakes his head. “It’s fine.”
“Then, let’s lie down.” Listening to your orders, he lies down with you pressed up against his chest. He held you close and tight– but not too tightly– in fear of losing you.
“Would you like to know about my dream, child of man?” he asks in a much lower voice. “If it helps you, then I’ll listen, tsunotaro,” you said and snuggle up to him. And that’s what he did. He recalled his nightmare of you and him which just made you feel sad. He is truly afraid of losing you and you could tell from how his voice breaks and sounds as if he’s about to cry.
“Don’t worry,” you say as soon as he finished retelling. “I won’t go anywhere.” You both knew that it was a lie. Your lifespan was just too short to meet the end with him. But for now, you are here and that’s all that matters, He will cherish every moment he has with you and not forget a single detail.
“Child of man, can you say my name?” he asks after a moments of silence. “Tsunotaro?” you say questioningly, eyes looking up at the fae. “No, my real name.” His eyes glow faintly in the dark which made it easy to tell that he was looking at you.
You pause for a second before granting his wish. “Malleus?” Though he said nothing at first, you could tell that he was smiling. “Yes. Thank you.” He hugs you closer. Since you both were abruptly woken up, you two were surely tired. Feeling his warmth, you were the first to go back to slumber peacefully. Malleus stays up a bit and strokes your head or cheek and stare in awe at your peaceful state.
“I love you, child of man.. No– [Name]. And I promise that I will make sure that you won’t be leaving my side any time soon.”
“Let’s spend eternity together.”

She looked so beautiful sitting in the midst of those glaze lilies, a smile on her lips and eyes gentle with a soft glow from the sunlight as she looked at the flowers. She plucks a glaze lily and brought it up to her nose, pushing a strand of her long hair behind her ears.
At that moment, it felt as if the rest of the world stopped. Your eyes glimmered and your face dusted with a light pink. To you, she was a goddess under that one beautiful and bright day and hope that you could get to see more of her in the future.
You see, you were a travelling painter and writer who is inspired by anything and everything around you. Travelling all across Teyvat, anybody would thought that you would have already met that eureka moment at its highest peak but no, you didn't- not until your travel to Liyue, that is.
Liyue, like all regions of Teyvat, had a unique style that distinguishes itself from others: the aesthetic of buildings, the aromatic dishes, its culture, yearly festivals-- you name it. It draws many and all sorts of people- either for work or for fun and you were there for the latter.
The bustling of crowds and the bright lights of the city at night have you that peaceful yet lively atmosphere that made you look at everything in awe. There was simply too much things one could write about and many places surrounding Liyue to paint, but none of them really sparked that motivation.
It was only when you took a walk outside of Liyue, that you found your spark. In the field full of glaze lilies, there was a woman, alone, in Liyue esque clothing. She had hair that was white as the snow in Dragonspine and eyes that was the colour of a phoenix and full of love and life. Your heart pounded against your chest like never before. She was alluring.
You took a step closer but the sound of grass bring crumpled upon made her alert and her reaction to the sound was faster than a normal person, like she was a warrior on full alert. "Who are you?" she asks sternly and her soft gaze became sharp as soon as her eyes landed on you.
"Oh, um, sorry to alert you," you started, "I was just passing by when I saw you and um.." You didn't say what you were thinking- her looking beautiful- to save yourself from embarrassment and from the- what would have been- suspicious gaze on you.
"Oh, is that so?" she says and starts to inspect you from head to toe, taking every little details of you. "Hm, it doesn't look like you're from Liyue. Are you an adventurer?"
"Ah, you can say that.." You scratch the back of your head shyly. "I'm travelling across Teyvat for inspiration." The lady hums, bringing her fingers on her chin. "So, I'm assuming you're here for inspiration?" she clarifies herself and you nod. A smile forms on her lips. "Not a lot come by this place as there are many monsters and that there are glaze lilies that can already be found within the city."
She then stood up and turns her full body to you. "Then, I shall be leaving so I can give you the scenery to help inspire you," she says and bows politely, excusing herself from your sight. You watched as her figure disappears from your sight, returning to the city. When you turned around, the scenery before you felt different. It felt sort of lonely and empty without the lady who basked in the sunlight and that spark suddenly died as soon as your eyes landed on it.
You decided to call it a day out in the wilderness and return back to the safety of the city, but not before seeing something glimmer in the midst of flowers under the sun's light. You walked closer and see a jewelry just sitting there and you presumed that it was the lady's so you picked it up, but since she was far gone, you can't hope to catch up to her, so you just hope that you two will meet again.
On the next day, you found Luhua Pool and decided to paint the scenery. It was very beautiful indeed so you sat there and painted away. As you were painting, you couldn't help but let your mind wander to the lady from yesterday.
She was a local which means you would see her somewhere in the city. However, she didn't look like a simple worker of the local stores or restaurants which meant that you can't simply walk into buildings and expect her to be there.
You still remember of the jewelry that you found and rummage your satchel for it. It was kept well inside a small box that you bought not soon after returning to the city. You suddenly pictured the white-haired female, alone, in that field of flowers, looking so beautiful that it took your breath away.
Subconsciously, you picked up a new canvas and paintbrush and spent that day painting the scene from yesterday with the best of your memories. The field itself was pretty, but it was her that made it even more so beautiful than it already was. When you were finished, the sun was already setting in the horizon. You took a step back to look at your work and praised it. It was your favourite and the one where you put so much care and effort into. If only the lady was there to see it.
You packed your belongings inside your satchel and made your way down the mountain you were on. You felt that the sun was setting rather quickly because the moon and a couple of stars were already dusting the now dark sky and you were nowhere near the city.
Not being a vision user, it kind of sucked that you have to fear of hilichurls suddenly appearing before you. The thought alone made you clutch the strap of your satchel and began frantically looking around.
Then- to your dread- you see a bunch of hilichurls in the distance. Some were sleeping while others were awake and on guard; there was even a mitachurl which just made the whole thing much worse than it already is. You can make your way around the camp so that's what you did, not knowing there there was a sleeping hilichurl in the direction you were heading. It woke up and set the alarm for the others as well.
"Oh, for the love of..!" You gripped tightly on your satchel and made a run for it. Through the years of travelling, your legs gotten quite used to long travels, as well as running away from encountered hilichurls. It was something not worth bragging since it's for survival.
You looked back and see that a hilichurl with a fire bat-like weapon sped up than the rest. In a panic, you sprinted faster, but since you weren't looking forward, you didnt see the conveniently placed log.
You tripped over it and ended up scratching your chin from the impact. You turn your body and see that they the samachurls was no more than a metre away, ready to swing its axe. Closing your eyes, you expected for the worst.
When ten seconds passed and the strike didn't come, you open one eye and then both to see some sort of barrier in front of you. "Are you alright?" Upon hearing the voice, you looked over your shoulders and see the white-haired female of whom you just painted of not too long ago.
Not waiting for an answer, she casted little rocks that was strong enough to wipe all of the hilichurls out of sight and returned back to you, kneeling down to inspect your injuries. "You're lucky that I was on my way back to the city and found you," she states. "Archon forbids what might have happened to you if I were not around."
She gets up on her feet again and stretches out a hand for you to grab. "Come on, I'll treat your wounds at my place." You didn't think it through as you hastily accepted the offered hand and followed her back inside the city.
She lead you up a couple of stairs and to your shocking news, up to the Jade Chamber that you had heard so many praises about. "Um, excuse me, but isn't this place off limits for common folks?" you ask, your eyes darting across the place with a mix of uneasiness and excitement. "It is, usually, but since you are injured, I've made an exception."
The words caught you by surprise and stare at the back of the female who rummage through shelves and drawers, looking for the things she needed. "Wait, so, are you Lady Ningguang, the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing!?" you exclaim. She hums, a small smile tugging her lips. "I see you're well informed of Liyue. Yes, I am and this is my home," she answers. Once she found the thing she wanted- which was a medical kit- she walks to where you were sitting and places the kit on the table beside you.
"This will sting so I apologise beforehand," she said and took out a cotton, dabbing some kind of ointment on it. She gently cups your face with her free hand and tilts it upwards before placing the cotton on the bottom of your chin.
She wasn't lying when it would sting and you hissed at the sudden stinging pain you felt. She apologises again before doing it a couple more times. "There, that should heal up in no time," she says as soon as she pulls away.
You watched her quietly from your seat, mesmerized by the sight of her as she cleans up. "Beautiful." Before you could comprehend what came out from underneath your breath, Ningguang heard it and looks at you with a baffled look. "I beg your pardon?"
You realized what you said and shook your head hastily. "A, ah, did I say that out loud?" you ask, more to yourself. I-it's just that.. Um, I really think you're beautiful, Lady Ningguang and I hope that we could meet more often.." You scratched your cheek, averting your gaze from the Tianquan.
There was a brief awkward silence which made you kinda wish that you hadn't said what you said just a few moments ago. Then, "Thank you," she says. You look up and see her smiling. "I.. I do like the thought of knowing someone outside of working matters."
Your eyes glimmered in happiness that soon reached your lips. "R-really? Then, I'm happy," you said and remembered something the slipped your mind. "Oh, right, I was wondering if it would be alright to ask what you were doing out so late?"
"Oh, I was looking for something that I had dropped yesterday. I had thought I dropped it by the fields.." she answers. You knew what that 'something' is and asked, "Are you perhaps looking for a jewelry?" She looks at you with hope in her eyes. "Do you know where it is?"
You nodded and look through your satchel. "I found it lying on the grass and kept it safe, thinking that it was yours," you say in honest and pulled out the box it was kept in before walking towards her, stretching the box towards her. "I'm glad to have stumbled upon you so that I could return it to you."
Ningguang smiles and accepts the box. "Thank you," she says in a gentle tone. "By the way, I haven't gotten your name, have I?" You shook your head. "My name is (Y/N)," you answered.
"Well, (Y/N), I hope we can become great friends," she says to which you happily nod. "Me too."

Let us pray that that will be the last request of Lilia's Sweet and Naive series.. I love Lilia with all my heart, but that series is exhausting. I didn't even intend for it to be a series.
I'd like to request some yandere-themed fluff if possible, yandere Lilia x reader. It would be something like Lilia scaring the reader to the point of making her cry, only to later be the one to comfort her.

How cute you were.. So young.. Naive.. And awfully too trusting of others for your own good. But maybe– just maybe– that’s what made him so fond of you. It would be too boring, really, to have someone buy in every word you say but Lilia didn’t think so; you were just O’ so fun to be around with. Could you being magicless and from another world be a factor? That, he doesn’t know. But, why fret the details? All one really needs to know is how crazy he is for you.
If you’re unfortunate enough, you might have accidentally looked over at the ancient fae unknowingly and be met terror-stricken at just how his eyes seem to swirl in unrecoverable madness.
You were heavily dependent on your friends when it came to protection so trust and without them, he noticed, you were just a helpless bunny stuck in a cage full of wolves. Though, admittedly, there really was just one wolf out to get you.. But if it turns out that there is another, well.. Now there was one.
Ah, why should he compare you to a helpless bunny? You weren’t truly that naive and oblivious like one, no. He can see that in you when you trech through the dark hallways– presumably kept up in the library studying– of Night Raven and kept your guard up and intune with your senses. Unlike a bunny, at least you know of the dangers being alone at night.
What are you so defensive about, my dear? Oh? Looking over your shoulder? Is someone.. Or something following you? Ah, that shouldn’t be the case. After all, he was there watching your every move and your surroundings.
With deep crimson-coloured eyes that seemed to pierce through the darkness, he would be able to see if anyone was around you and right now, he can confidently say it was just you.. And him of course.
Watching you from a far off branch of a tree– protecting you– this dead of the night where not a single, weary soul lies awake.. See how wonderful he is? He’s up because he’s worried about you!
Oh! What was that? Did you hear something? Perhaps.. A purposely dropped object? Fufufu, that sudden fright must have seriously gotten to you. Now look at how you’re mumbling to yourself about just being overly sensitive and paranoid. You are just so cute! He was almost about to snatch you up right then and there and lock you up in a tower in the Valley of Thorns.
But, alas, he couldn’t do it right now. After all, his prince must finish his years in Night Raven and since he was his guardian, he must see it through. It wasn’t that long of a wait though, and when it was time to go back to the kingdom, he’s sure to take you with him.
He would really love to create a family with you once he gets back home– and he’s sure you’ll love the idea as well! Just imagine how much joy it would be to see both of your half-fae children running around in the manor!
Amidst his daydreaming– or night dreaming, you could say– he hasn’t realized how his heels clacking on the hard, cold floor have gotten rather loudly and obvious that you weren’t alone.
You called out for him– anyone– in the dark, tears pricking your eyes. You were completely frozen on the spot once you realized that there was no way of outrunning him.
Now you were looking like a helpless bunny. He almost felt bad for scaring you so– almost. Ah, but he doesn’t want you to cry because of him..
“[Name]-chan?” A familiar voice draws your attention behind you and not at the monster in front of you. Well, if it was still there. “L, Lilia..”
Oh dear. He must have truly scared you out of your wits this time. Your tears were now freely trickling down your cheeks as you ran up to hug him– seek comfort in him. “There, there.. No need to cry now,” he said, stroking your head lovingly as if he didn’t find a sickening joy in scarring you. “There’s no one here but us here, so dry your tears and let me see you smile.”
He moves slightly back to take a proper look at your tear-stained face that he found beautiful on you and cups your face between his hands. It was at this point that you noticed that the monster’s gaze seemed to vanish and relax, giving your senior a smile.
“Why are you here, Lilia-san?” you asked and wiped your face from the tears. “I was taking a stroll around the place and noticed that someone was inside so I came to check what they were up to.. I must say, I really am a curious one, huh?” He chuckles, eyes close as he continues to stroke the top of your head.
You gave a dry laugh of your own, heart feeling lighter unlike a few moments ago where you felt your heart thumping against your chest– frantic and screaming for you to hurry up and leave the building.
“Hehe.. Next time that you are alone or wish for a different company, don’t hesitate to call for me,” Lilia said. He opened his eyes, a dark shadow was cast over them but was pierced by his glowing orbs. He darkly said something just below an acceptable normal voice that you also heard and made alarm bells go off, “Though, I’m all you need anyway.”

The Magift tournament was just around the corner once again. Night Raven College’s students were all very much excited for the possible chance of being on television and getting offers to bigger leagues as seen with the fiery burst of energy that had suddenly come from nowhere.
The rest of Twisted Wonderland was just as much hyped for the tournament and that included you. It was a rare occasion to be able to step inside the prestigious, all-boy school so events like the Magift tournament were the only times where you could go in.
As always, you waited for an invitation to be delivered to you and accepted it when you did, departing on the day of the tournament by carriage.
Though you knew which team was probably going to win this year, you still went. You confess that you weren’t really going there for the game and for another completely different reason– A reason that you felt was much more important that you decided to skip a day of school just to be where you are as of the current moment, lost in a crowd, being shoved around effortlessly like a ragdoll.
It has always been like that but it never ceases to make you feel irritated as you try to squeeze between gaps of people and safely land at the end of it. You had departed much earlier than you did in previous years, but you seem to have underestimated how much others were just as excited for the game as you were excited for the reason of you being there.
Once at the entrance to the colosseum, you took a moment to breathe before going to one of the people monitoring and guiding people inside in an orderly fashion. This was the only moment where you could relax since this is where you would part from the more rowdy bunch of individuals. Since you’ve gotten an invite exclusively for families of big names, you were escorted to a seat reserved just for you.
You waited in your seat for the game to start, though you care naught of such things. It was simply a means to pass time but when it did start, to your interest, you were at the edge of your seat when a cat with blue flames entered the field. It was an oddity since there was nothing like it in the years since the school’s grand opening but you found yourself laughing when the famed Savanaclaw was challenging what obviously were new students with the cat.
After what you assumed was the opening game (it was poorly coordinated to be one), you waited for the team you rooted for most– Heartslabyul. Ah, yes. The law-abiding students with their amazing dorm leader! Your heart rate increases by a bit when you see the members on the field. If there were fanclubs of each dormitory, you were sure to be the head of the Heartslabyul dorm’s fanclub. Growing up in the Rose Kingdom, you were a bit biased towards those who abide by the law and Heartslabyul was nothing but that! And you were very familiar with the dorm leader, seeing as he had made quite a name for himself as a Night Raven College’s student.
You noticed that a certain someone on the field was scanning the benches carefully and when your eyes met, he was quick to avert his face altogether. You didn’t notice it at that time, but a small smile crept up your lips.
–
“Man, that was a bit embarrassing.. There’s no way anyone would want us even if we could get to join the team next year..” A certain ginger and his friends were making their way down the many stalls, talking about the game that they thought had a chance at, seeing as the events before the game– which was kept undisclosed– left the Savanaclaw a bit weaker than they normally were.
“Well– Hm?” A boy with a spade on his right eye was just about to say something when his eyes noticed a figure that was blocking their path. There stood a lone beauty, clearly lost and searching for something or someone, eyes darting around longingly. His pupils went wide and made an audible ‘woah’ which drew the rest of the group’s attention up ahead, all except the ginger. For him, when he turned, it was already too late. “Hey, Ace! Watch out!” The sudden shout made you turn behind and eyes widened. When Ace turned to look ahead, he had collided with you and the both of you tumbled down. Ace did his best to make sure your head didn’t hit the ground, his quick reflexes putting a hand behind your head and pushed your head right into his chest while his free arm supported the soft impact of your head.
“Ace, you idiot!” One of his friends’ called out. You two stayed like that for a few seconds until all his friends were surrounding the two of you by which at that time, his hold on you loosened. He stares down at you, wide-eyed and still in quite a shock. “W, woah. I’m sorry!” He apologizes, a noticeably light pink dusted his face. “It’s uh–”
“Deuce! Ace! What is the meaning of this?” Another person further down from the group made themselves known with an upset and demanding tone of voice. You looked up ahead and see a familiar red-head, though he was upside down for you. “What are you doing, Ace? Let go of her immediately!” The now fuming with red red-head glares angrily at the ginger. He immediately scrambles up to his feet, bringing you up with him.
“This is [Name], Riddle’s fiancee,” a voice familiar to you speaks just behind Riddle. “Oh, that’s– WHAAAT!?” The first years’ eyes went wide with shock. Riddle, the once tyrant of Heartslabyul, has a fiancee? Since when? Questions filled their minds, but were still in a shock to part their lips.
As Ace tries to explain himself, you dusted your clothes from any dirt that had stuck on you from the ground. “D, dorm leader! I wasn’t–” His dorm leader made a quick, angry look at him before dismissing him entirely. He walks up to you with an obvious look of worry which went unnoticed. It drew a confused side-eye glance to each other from the first years. Did their dorm leader know the beauty?
“My rose, are you okay? You aren’t hurt, are you? No scratches?” He asks questions after questions. “No, I’m okay,” you reassure him with a smile, though it did not make Riddle’s worries from dispelling completely. This drew some even more confusion by the first years and they whispered amongst themselves.
“Trey.. Out of all the words you could have chosen, you decided that ‘fiancee’ was the better choice?” Riddle, now giving them half his attention, pouts. “Is it not right?” Trey smirks, eyes daring to challenge Riddle. The dorm leader frowned a bit more before giving in with a sigh and closed his eyes. “You’re right..” The first years once again made an audible sound of surprise at the confirmation. You giggled at how chaotic they seemed. Riddle clears his throat, a closed hand over his mouth. “I suppose I should give you a proper introduction,” he crosses his arms over his chest and stares at his juniors seriously. “This is [Name], a childhood friend of mine and whom I've also been betrothed to since birth. She attends another school of magic, but one only for girls.”
“Wait, since birth?” Deuce was the one to ask what the rest were wondering. “Correct.” Riddle says it nonchalantly and it made the first years wonder if he truly loved you by choice or that it was a sense of duty to protect you since you two were engaged. They know a bit of Riddle’s past now and know that if it was his mother’s choice for the two to be engaged, that he won’t refute it.
You notice their unease and odd look towards you. You were quick to realize what they were asking you with their eyes and you smiled to reassure them. “Don’t worry, Riddle treats me very nicely out of his own accord,” you said. “We used to have many playdates without knowing we would be wedded together, and during which he promised that he would marry me when the time comes, even if his mother didn’t agree!”
“Rose! Did you really have the need to say that?” Riddle’s face turned red, but not out of anger. You chuckled and clasped one of his hands between yours. “Oh you’re so cute, Riddle.” Your comment just made his face turn as red as his hair and it also looked as if you had broken him. Poor boy, he sometimes doesn’t know what to do with you when you embarrass him.
He clears his throat and faces the first years, especially Ace. “Anyway, since [Name] does not seem to be hurt– and is chipper as usual– I will let the heavy punishment go,” Riddle declares, which was a relief to hear. “But don’t think you’re off the hook, Ace. I will have a talk with you after the festivities have concluded.”
“Now, my rose, why don’t we go on a walk– just the two of us, of course.” His facial expression completely changes from an angry one to a softer one in a nick of time as soon as his eyes return to you. You nodded and bid the Heartslabyul first years. You took Riddle’s hand– which still makes him flustered– and distanced away from the group.
“So she’s taken..” Deuce sighs disappointedly the moment you two were far from their earshot. “Hey, that’s your concern? Riddle will have my head after this!” Ace said, staring at him in disbelief. “And why didn’t you warn me earlier that I was gonna bump into someone?”
“It’s your fault for not looking ahead of you,” Deuce gave him a bored look and turned around to walk away from the raging ginger.
–
“Are you sure you’re okay, my rose? You know that I get angry should you lie to me. Honestly, just tell the truth and I’ll go–” You squeezed his hands softly and turned to look at him. “I’m fine! Really. And besides, that first year protected my head from hitting the ground too hard. I owe it to him.”
“Well, maybe if he watched where he was going, you wouldn’t have fallen..” He mumbled under his breath and squeezed your hand, though it was still loud and clear for you to hear. You smiled. “You’ll have a talk with him later, right? So let’s forget about it for now and spend the rest of the time doing fun stuff! You know how limited our time is together now, don’t you?” Silver eyes stare at you– analyzing your features– before they turn to focus on something else up ahead. “Very well then. If that is what my rose wants, then I’ll be more than happy to oblige.” Hearing him say that made your smile grow wider and pressed yourself closer to him that your sides were touching.
“Yay! Okay, dorm leader, where shall we go first?” Riddle blushed once again at the mention of his title. “Rose!” You laughed. “Sorry! I can’t help calling you ‘dorm leader’ when basically all students call you that.” You weren’t really sorry and Riddle knew that. However, he can’t get mad at you. You were, after all, his favourite.
The queen’s favourite rose.

I’m sure you noticed it, but I got lazy at the end to the point that my word choices weren’t the best. I hope this was okay though!
I.. I didn't get either of Silver's birthday card.. T∆T I even used a bit of my Lilia funds.. I'll try again on the English server when it drops.
Please, I just want to collect the Diasomnia family. >∆<
I also forgot to roll for either cards for Sebek's birthday so I have to wait an entire year. ._.
Malleus kept coming so I wasn't so sad/angry.
Not once did Lilia show up though.. I guess he and his son aren't gonna show up. Maybe Lilia is mad at me for attempting to roll for that one winter Epel card and put a bad-luck curse on me QwQ. He probs also told Silver not to come to me.
Liliaaa.. I'm sorry..! I've learned my lesson, I swear!
Congratulations in reaching 200 followers!! I'm really, really happy for you! I could even do a small celebratory dance because I'm so proud of you. ^♡^
