Nerdy Prudes Must Die — Starkid, 2023 The Fallen Angel — Alexandre Cabanel, 1847
I'm so glad we started to talk about this. I didn't like this thing from I was young. And every next year I start more and more getting how messed up it is. You know, when you're a kid and you're surrounded by people (but most importantly family) that are saying "It's tradition." and "It's for your health." (for the people who don't know, this thing is symbolizing that "girls {or/and} women will be fertile and have health for a year")
Mhm. Sure. I have to get my ass beaten up for it.
And the same thing for Lucie. DO YOU REALIZE HOW I SHIT MYSELF AS A CHILD WHEN I SAW THIS IN MY WINDOW OR DOOR??
But no srsly, I don't hate traditions, all I'm saying is..... Can we have more traditions that aren't based on our gender or making someone feel uncomfortable?
....No? Alright.
just being-a-trans-dude-in-the-czech-republic-during-easter things:
refusing to whip the girls with the willow canes because you still remember how fucking humiliating it was to get your ass beat every year by guys who didn’t actually give a fuck about your future health (and still getting eggs for some goddamn reason even though you repeatedly refuse like srsly wtf)
Who will pray for me…
a maxwell for my fellow doomed by the narrative enjoyers 👻
