Honestly I need to appreciate the Voya-Nui resistance team more.

-The Piraka are absurdly overpowered and way too eager to kill, so trying to take one on directly is suicide and trying to take one out through subterfuge is still an abjectly unfair proposal.

-There are six of them, so even with their constant power-jockeying, even if the resistance did manage to take one down, the other five would immediately crack down hard.

-Also just. Zaktan. Protodites. There's jack shit anyone can do about that.

-Also they have all the mind-controlled matoran as hostage collateral who would be punished for even lesser forms of resistance.

-The Piraka broke their trust in Toa, and then with the Nuva, in the ability of real Toa to meaningfully help them. The Inika do show up and win eventually, but for the most part the Resistance team is operating on the assumption that they're not getting any help, they can only do this themselves.

Like, they were objectively fucked six ways from sunday no matter what, but they still decided yeah, fuckit, we're not gonna stand for this shit. Dying free is still better than a life in chains, and we won't run away and leave the rest behind, either. And I have to really respect that.

I watched the 13 hour Ben Saint video and now I have ocs that I can’t stop thinking about

Geda (green) and Judho (red) are Vortixx, they work together on Xia as a blacksmith and hunter pair. Geda is very trusting for a Vortixx and loves to explore, which leads her to finding hidden secrets about her tribe. Judho is much more ambitious than her partner, and tends to be a workaholic. After she gets a offer to work as a personal blacksmith for the Vortixx royalty, she must make a choice between her quiet life with her partner or something much more.

I’m currently working on an au/cannon-divergent story with them, which will focus on their relationship and explain some stuff I’m adding or taking away from the Vortixx tribe in their story.

This is some kind of madness for my eyes. I love such surreal designs based on large shapes and curves. For example, the controversial Onewa, who looks like a stick insect. I love it. I can laugh out loud. Especially the latest sketches with very massive and large Whenua and Vakama (they look very soft, I want to squeeze them like pillows, and then lie down and fall asleep on them). From the same latest sketches, Nokama, who looks like a squid. I would eat them all. Your style is generally very unusual and delicious. It looks like scribbles with chalk in a notebook!!! It's very cute!🌹🌹🌹
