I will always prefer to draw Dionysus with dark hair but for Euripides I can make an exception
i have no clear idea what doctor sleep is about but watching the trailer i remembered how iconic little danny torrance is
from now on i will tag my drawings about christian mythology that do not conform to catholic dogmas with #blasphemy in case someone should not want to see them. to me is important to use christian imagery in my art both to elaborate my religious experience and to converse with the art masters (and not only them) that have shaped the culture of the country i live in and with people who share a similar cultural background to mine, but i do recognize it could be offensive for some. i will be more careful with the tags in general. i am sorry if i have offended someone
today I was thinking about the fact that i've drawn romano as the son of ancient greece once, implying that he was the magna graecia... and that would mean that he and ancient rome have more or less the same age
i'm trying to understand my own headcanons now
I'm Italian too, may you share what you wrote with the sketches about Pentheus and Dionysus? I'm curious about your notes
they are for sure lecture notes taken in uni, but they are from two years ago and so i'm not certain about the class they relate to... i see that they mention Pietro Bembo and in the timelapse on my ipad i can read the name of Lionello Venturi in a part that in the final version got covered, so they are very likely notes from a course about the history of art criticism. unfortunately at the moment i do not have the notebook on hand, but this weekend i have to return to my parents' house and there i will see if i manage to find it and to make some decent photos!
