I do write, and I’ve got 2 published fics (on ff.net but still, published.) but I’m shit at writing 3rd person. And I write all of mine by hand. I just create more work for myself.

I think Scott wouldn’t be best pleased that John went into EDEN without backup, (the comms going down probably didn’t help with his worry) and him just bringing John in for a big hug, with tears in his eyes, telling him how proud he is of him (and Alan obviously, but Al’s used to it).

TBH I don’t want to speculate on what might happen in the rest of the series, but I do think the Mechanic has done something to EOS, or left himself a backdoor/Trojan Horse (as some hackers call it) so he can get access to TB5′s system. We just have to wait and see.

I can try write something in my break from class tonight. I only get about 15 minutes, but I always get there a little early, and my teacher is deaf, so as long as I don’t write while she’s teaching, she doesn’t mind. I learn BSL (British Sign Language) for 2 hours a week.

What's a quasar? Is it a science thingy?

“Quasar’s are normally caused by collisions of galaxies, with the galaxies’ central black holes merging to form either a supermassive black hole or a binary black hole system.” The spaceman goes on, flicking up a diagram and shifting the data around meaningfully. “So, here, look; the Tracy Quasar is essentially a really super compact region in the centre of a massive galaxy, that surrounds one of these central supermassive black holes. See? Its size is something like ten thousand times the radius of an ordinary enclosed black hole. The energy emitted from such a quasar derives from mass that’s falling onto what we call the accretion disc around the black hole.”

“The primary star of the Tracy Quasar, that is, the largest solar body in the galaxy, is the LucilleX10-37.” John’s expression changes; softening into warm and fond as he mentions his mother’s star. “She’s got a small cluster of satellites; asteroids and exo-planets that have been named after my brothers and Father.”

“I have books written on the subject,” He adds, “though the I’m not sure whether the eponymof the S-TracyX607 has ever used my book for anything but a doorstop…”

Dark times all around but there are still people out there who love you

Do not hurt yourself, do not hurt others, get help, talk to someone, anyone. Humanity has survived before and we can do it now if we all just support each other. Christian Voice, do your FUCKING research before you you tweet something so FUCKING stupid and hurtful.

I did some of my own research, and Great Britain hadn't won a Gold medal in diving before Rio 2016, and that was won by Jack Laugher and Chris Mears in the 3m Springboard.

Since 1904, when Britain first competed in diving, we have won 8 medals (1 Gold, 2 Silver and 5 Bronze), and had a total of 24 divers compete. 4 of the 8 medals have been won since London 2012.

As somebody of the LGBT community (even though people might not consider Asexual people as being part of that community), I find it offensive that you blame being Gay on his recent bad day. It was unfortunate when he had the bad day, but being Gay had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

And he was not "seduced by an older man". He found Lance when he was thinking about giving up diving. They needed each other, because Tom had just lost his dad, and Lance had just lost his brother and his mum was ill.
