Just wanted to let you know febfem isn't just for terfs, I see a lot of ftm trans men that are febfems, it's not about being a cis woman just female. It's trans inclusive. Febfems can have boyfriends if they're trans men
febfem isn’t just for TERFs
it’s not about being a cis woman, just (biologically) female
febfems can have boyfriends if they’re trans men
you’re contradicting yourself, anon. nice try. if by “trans inclusive” you mean trans men but not trans women, then lol lmao. i’ve seen them try to give that false impression before. also i have lots of history with the label so if you’re attempting to fool me with the wrong information here in order to accept bigotry then it’s not gonna work.
personally, i think that if trans men want to identify themselves within feminine orientation labels (i.e. sapphic, lesbian, etc.), then that’s valid as long as it’s an individualistic decision and doesn’t represent or isn’t forced on the whole community. that’s not what y’all are doing, i fear! transphobes externally assign labels based on birth sex for transmascs, transfems, and nonbinary groups.
i’m curious, though — why did you send that ask on this blog, where febfem was never mentioned previously except for a recent reblog of someone else’s old post?
like, i haven't even watched TLOK so maybe there's something i'm missing about a certain aspect of their relationship (i honestly don't know, maybe @bisexual-coala could confirm), but instead of choosing to point out something that might be legitimately problematic, your discomfort is with bisexuality...
and as one of my twitter mutuals pointed out, this is one of the few times i've seen korassami not get erased as lesbians ─ because now it's apparently bad to like them instead of the actual les4les couple*!
don't ever tell us prejudice towards bisexuals always has a reasonable, founded basis again. 🖕
*this is not me sharing my opinion on caitvi or claiming you should(n't) like them. however, it's usually a good idea to be critical of certain elements in media.
Sapphic Feminist flag! Based off of my Bisexual Feminist Flag!
do u know of any mlm bi terms?? i know this blog is bi wlw focused so if this question is out of line feel free to delete it!!
Hello hello! No worries, this isn’t out of line at all! Tysm for acknowledging my blog is bi wlw focused tho!
Iiiiiii don’t know any :0 AND I took a lookie see on this site AND on Reddit AND Twitter and got nothing :/
I will say tho, are you familiar that sapphic is another word for wlw and achillean is another word for mlm? So bi achillean is a quicker way to say bi mlm right there (not referring to it as an acronym; then it’s shorter to say)
there’s a gorgeous bi achillean flag I saw made by @ akemishka on Twitter!
And there’s this beautiful one by @ryanyflags!
As for any terms, hmmmm… well I have come up with one!
Khonsic! (Pronounced con-sick). It’s kinda the equivalency of Selenic, a term for bi sapphics that I’m obsessed with!
Moon Knight fans will love this lol, so Khonsu is the Egyptian god of the moon! Selenic is derived from Selene, the Greek/Roman goddess of the moon! I figured since moons are so prevalent to bisexual symbolism, keep the theme! I was uncomfortable with the idea of the term for bi men + bi nblm being derived from a goddess, so I googled “male god of the moon” and boo yah!
I stuck the term on the bi achillean flags I showed you!
And then I put some bi men + bi male aligned nonbinary/genderfluid Loki :3
Feel free to use! The icons, the term Khonsic, whatever resonated with you!
Hello bisexuals! I have compiled all of the volumes and articles of Journal of Bisexuality and you can access it for free! Don't worry about paywalls anymore. I will keep updating the drive.
Based on the original from this post, which is about how gnc women can still be women and don't have to id as nonbinary just bc they are gnc. I posted this in a reblog to that post, but felt it deserves its own post as well.
To be clear, I get why you may not want to call yourself bisexual even if it technically fits. I'm bisexual, too, but I've felt like that plenty of times in the past several years. Using only other terms for your sexuality is fine as well, or you can call yourself bi and other terms (e.g. bi and pansexual).
