Presumably Baylan has absolutely zero clue that Ahsoka is very familiar with the Mortis Gods. Like, can you imagine him mentioning he’s searching for them or at least something associated with them, and Ahsoka is all “oh yeahhh I remember meeting them. Bad trip.
