Because at some point it got folded in under “problematic,” and now every damn thing that has Unfortunate Implications or deals with sensitive topics indelicately enough to raise hackles or gores somebody’s sacred cow is treated as a grave injustice or a threat to society. Online activism culture has lost the vocabulary to express “this deals with touchy stuff in a way many people might find inappropriate, and you should probably avoid it if insensitivity on this subject gets you angry/upset, but it’s not promoting hateful ideas or demeaning people or affecting anything but my opinion of the creator’s sense of tact.”
not a dream
WWLTV made a completely fake news story slandering somebody I follow on Instagram, even though there's proof that what they wrote about is not true in the slightest and they edited the video to make her seem like she was stealing the dog.
She's getting harassed by the neighbors' who were likely the ones to sell the story and won't back down because they wanted something out of it, she was even accused of having a white savior complex, despite not even being white. Does anyone have any idea what to do regarding this? She's even receiving threats and hate because of doing what she thought was right. She has proof that she didn't steal the dog, she was walking her service dog at the time, the doorbell video proofs she wasn't bribing dog with treats (there were no treats, a blatant lie from the edited video), she posted on her socials about the dog and taking it to the shelter after finding it cold, matted, shivering and without a collar in bad weather, and she took it to the shelter immediately. What to do? I wanna help clear an innocent person's name, she's being harassed horribly and that isn't right.
My face is having uncontrollable spasms. Great. It hurts really, really, really bad.
I think part of why I have trouble explaining pain to the doctor is when they ask about the pain scale I always think “Well, if someone threw me down a flight of stairs right now or punched me a few times, it would definitely hurt a lot more” so I end up saying a low number. I was reading an article that said that “10” is the most commonly reported number and that is baffling to me. When I woke up from surgery with an 8" incision in my body and I could hardly even speak, I was in the most horrific pain of my life but I said “6” because I thought “Well, if you hit me in the stomach, it would be worse.”

Justice for Quawan Charles! He was only a baby, his family deserves to have answers and the culprits need to be caught and punished.
How METAL would it be if everyone got a mini neuropsych eval every year starting in childhood. Like how you get a checkup and a dental check every year. What if people weren't already struggling adults when they figure out they have a mental illness or a learning disability or autism or ADHD or trauma any other form of neurodivergence. Or even a a neurotypical just having an issue that needs to be addressed before it gets worse. What if maintaining your mental/emotional/neurological health was normalized as something every one does regularly and not only addressed after behavioral problems or being miserable or struggling at work or school or being an addict or having no friends?
Just kidding lol...unless?
and i usually don’t do this but pls rb for a bigger sample size
