My unprofessional attempt at the Onion Headline x Fandom thing!
Margo and Sergei and Regency England, now featuring An Ode to the Pride and Prejudice 1995 Lake Scene.
when fanfic authors say that they don’t decide what happens in the story that the characters make the decisions i imagine it like this:
writer: *sitting down* type type type type *squinting at the screen* type type type
writer: *gasp* WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT…… type type type
For All Mankind rewatch
Danielle Poole in 1x03 "Nixon's Women"
A fandom friend once used the phrase ‘my canon’, and I have adopted it.
It may not be the canon, but it’s my canon, and no one can stop me!

FOR ALL MANKIND — 2x06 ‘Best-Laid Plans’
Thanks to @allatariel for tagging me! (And for the adorable fic snippet.) It is very definitely no longer Sunday, but anyhow.
This is from a fic idea that’s been rolling around in my head for a year or so at this point. 😬 (Also fun fact the first outline of this had about eight elevator scenes.)
Anyway, here’s wonderwall the Houston ‘83 awkward airplane tarmac handshake line, except as the Moscow ‘74 awkward airplane tarmac handshake line:
The line seems to stretch stonily, noiselessly on, and Margo feels herself start to despair a little. A step to her left, as she wonders whether to introduce herself yet again. It could be pure desperation that has her imagining this man’s gaze is more encouraging, or it could be true. She offers her hand. “Margo Madison.” “Sergei Orestovich Nikulov,” he says immediately, takes her hand firmly, though much more gently than the guy before him. Margo’s so grateful to hear someone other than herself say something that she could practically kiss him.
