When I study, it helps me a lot to write down the information, even if I don't go back to look at it, so it would've been a lot of paper waste on my part. I decided to get a tablet and I'm a huge Android fan. This is my Samsung tab s6, i got it second hand, and after one year of using it a lot, I still have no complaints!
Highly recommend it :)
(you can also attach a keyboard and make it a super portable 'laptop')
I request advice! I'll be starting on a new academic road this coming August and I desire to not use as much paper as I did in undergraduate.
For context, I'm a mathematics student for whom hand-typed notes are made more accessible by LaTeX but still not easily producible during a lecture, particularly if that lecture involves multiple operations, fractions within fractions, and symbols I haven't encountered before. In geometry classes, there is no hope. Moreover, practicing mathematics context is best done by hand, at least for me.
What I'm seeking are paper-less options that will still allow me to "hand write." I've seen iPad and Apple Pencil recommendations online, but I prefer non-Apple products. What has worked well for others, math or non-math?

Spending the day reviewing my readings + finishing my assignments for the next week 🫶🏻🩷 Very productive but tiring! 🤞🏻🍰

You are smarter than you feel and you know more than you think.
Always while studying or right before an exam i feel like i don't know anything, my thoughts are all jumbled and I can't find a straight answer for a question i ask myself for funsies.
That's ok.
I've come to know that, despite feeling like i don't know anything, i hold all the necessary information. When it counts, when you have a specific problem right in front of you, you will know the answer.
You sometimes just have to trust yourself.

I watched a documentary yesterday about an Irish poet and it reminded me how as I child, I wanted to make documentaries like these. Portraits of people and their craft and the places that made them who they are today. I suppose writing fiction is the closest I got to this childhood dream. Watching the Irish landscapes on my screen made me long for a life that was different to the one I was leading now and more certain of spending my September in Scotland.

The results are the sweetest when you've worked for it. Don't. Forget. That
Growth takes time 🪴 remember that when you’re feeling discouraged about your progress or where you are at now, and it applies to all areas of your life!
the things that bring me the most joy are the simplest: the feeling of climbing in to my own bed after a long day. the smell of coffee. a stranger being kinder than i expected. waking up to the sound of rain. the sound of a loved one's laughter. these simple joys are all i need.
I chose to waste time in a way I like, and everything aesthetic fills my soul
