I just noticed that I’m a filler friend. You know the kind of friend that no one in the group actively seeks out to talk to or texts first. I don’t get invited out places with them or talk to them at all outside of school. They sort of brush away what I say then complain I don’t say much. What the fuck people. I’m trying really hard but you still won’t care.

Excatly what I was thinking! When Re-reading ACOTAR, I came across that and thought that!

ACOTAR 3 THEORY

So I have this terrible theory…. when thinking about the drawers for each of the sisters that Feyre painted in their cottage in the mortal lands. Each of the drawers reflect a high fae so far (Elaine-flower-Lucien/Spring Court & Feyre-stars-Rhysand/Night Court). What if Nesta’s fire that Feyre painted is foreshadowing a mating bond with a high fae of Autumn Court…… my mind goes to a character we have already met somewhat. The high fae that Mor was betrothed to; why else would he be mentioned in both books of the series and his cruel behavior be highlighted (outside of development for Lucien and Mor). This would lead to Cassian and Nesta perhaps choosing each other after Nesta rejected a “sacred bond” rather than being forced together. This has been something I thought of for a long time and kind of hoped someone else would comment on too.

Lucien has finally been invited to join the guys’ night out, and it results in new information about Rhys’s past.

“I invited Lucien, by the way. He’ll be here soon.” Cassian announces as he takes a seat at Rhys and Azriel’s table at Rita’s. It’s their monthly night out together, just the guys, while their wives and mates entertain themselves elsewhere downtown. “I know you don’t like him, Rhys. But he has, like, no friends. He could use this.” Cassian takes a sip of his drink and endures his high lord’s silence. “And last time we didn’t invite him, it apparently upset Elain and Nesta gave me crap about it for a week,” he adds.

“I never said I have a problem with Lucien coming with us,” Rhys says coolly. “That’s perfectly fine.”

Cassian dips his fingers in his glass and flicks beer at his High Lord. “Don’t do the passive-aggressive thing, Rhys. Not cool.”

Azriel watches them calmly, looking, as always, as though he has about eighty relevant secrets under his belt that he’s choosing not to share.

“I’m not, as you put it, ‘doing the passive aggressive thing.” Rhys says. “I am genuine in my sentiment that he should come out with us, but you’ll forgive me if I’m not entirely comfortable around him.”

“Because of what went down with Tamlin?”

“Not exactly.”

Cassian lowers his drink. “Is there… something else?”

Rhys puts a hand flat on the table, drums his fingers lightly. He does not answer.

Az cocks his head at him. “Is there something else, Rhysand?”

“If you must know,” Rhys says carefully, “Lucien and I have had… relations… in the past.”

“Well, yeah, of course,” Cassian says, slightly confused as he picks up his beer again. “He was the right hand of that asshole, you guys ran into each other plenty.”

Az and Rhys look at each other.

“Cassian,” Rhys tries again, “I mean that Lucien and I have had sex.”

Cassian spits beer across the table. “What?” He chokes, messily wiping at his chin. “You’re kidding.”

Empire of Storms (spoilers)

I just finished EoS, and I have no words. Just. Why? I was just starting to like Lorcan and then he ruins that! And I was just starting to think that Rowan and Aelin wouldn't be bothered my Maeve, but look what happened! I thought Aelin wouldn't be whipped again, look what happened! I shipped Lorcan & Elide, Manon & Dorian, and Aedion & Lysandra! And two of them were ruined! Empire of Storms is my least favorite book in the series, and my favorite.

I'm trying to get my friends into ToG soon, but I haven't been successful yet.

SHE CALLED ME 5 MINUTES AGO CRYING SAYING SHE FINISHED EMPIRE OF STORMS AND STARTED RANTING ABOUT AELIN AND HOW MAEVES A BITCH  AND HOW ROWAN HAS TO FIND HER AND THAT LORCAN HAS TO GET ELIDE BACK AND SHE SHIPS DORIAN  AND MANON HOW SHE WAS CAUGHT OFF GUARD WITH ROWAN AND AELIN BEING MATES……..AFTER 10 MINUTES SHE CALMED DOWN AND BEFORE SHE HANGED UP
