I just thought this format worked way too well for the Core Four: ie Bart Allen, Kon-El/Conner Kent, Tim Drake and Cassie Sandsmark. There is almost never a day I don’t think about these kids and that they deserved better and I will take any opportunity to draw them.

(Note: I did not draw the poster of the flash in the background, I used the poster that was in Cissie’s room in the first page of Young Justice (1998) #16. I used this page for the reference of the Wendy the Werewolf Stalker poster - I did trace that because this was supposed to be a meme and I already spent too much time on it.)

Some of the reasons I so badly want a joint Duke, Tim, Cass and Steph title is, not only will you have an interesting dynamic of Duke v Tim where the you have the youngest and newest family member - who also is the best leader - potentially butting heads with a more calculating and experienced Tim which could lead to some initial interesting friction.

But you could also do some nice stories about adolescence in Gotham and start telling stories about these guys in their secret ids (which has really fallen off the face of the earth in recent bat comics) and have adventures during the day in Gotham. Things like get Tim and Steph to college (finally) and Duke back in high school and Cass trying average life out and finding it incredible dull and beneath her or finding actually she really likes aspects of it or whichever. Just more stories of defining the four outside of those costumes. 

But also I just find the thought of Duke Tim and Cass, three people who are targeted by the League of Assassins over and over again with temptations and corruption yadda yadda, versus Stephanie ‘I’m just very happy to be included in this narrative’ Brown as the wildcard, as very, very, very funny. 

Like Ra’s in the background like Be my heir; Be the body I want to possess so I can be young once more; Be my loyal bodyguard…

And then there’s Steph

Hi, I'm JD, a disabled Chilean trans man who needs help getting my government disability pension. I have been in the process since August of 2022 since most days I cannot leave the house due to my disability. I am in the final part of the process, but recently have found out that the office responsible for sending my paperwork on to the next stage has simply not done so and they are overdue by 3 months. This means that I now have to go all the way to Santiago in person, which I can't do alone because again! Disabled as fuck!

Please help me reach 120$ USD which will cover mine and my mom's travel costs so that I can get the pension I was denied even though I can hardly walk. Any bit helps ❤️

we are now about HALFWAY THROUGH the registration period! Here's a small update

We've had great reception so far and I'm so happy with the enthusiasm the event's bringing! On that note, there were a couple of questions that I answered privately that I'd like to clarify

"Are AUs allowed?" Answer: Yes, absolutely! the only real limit to what you can make is NSFW content

"What's the minimum wordcount?" Answer: 6k for one-shots and 10k for multichaps

"When are the fics/art pieces due?" Answer: The current soft deadline is October 1st, giving you about 3 and a half months to work on them! More details about the schedule will be found in the discord once its up!

Ok so Flash gets to the future because!! Either a villian or something to do with the speed force! He gets picked up by the League and is like!!!! Haha this is weird but I can roll with it

Ideas get messy here especially ao!! So like! Maybe Clark calls like an emergency league meeting or soemthing and everyone has to go so ofcourse Terry shows up

Wally already knows Barda and Clark so he's! Mostly pretty relaxed? He's cracking jokes and trying to keep everything light while they figure out how to get him back to the past

They probably!! They'd probably just hang back a little and try to assess the situation like Bruce is alwasy telling him to. See what Wally is like ig!!

Wally notices Terry like really quickly because OBVIOUSLY THERES A NEW BATMAN!!

Throws some witty remarks or jokes (listen im not a writer idk wtf I'm doing) and to Wallys surprise! Batman ( Terry) actually throws one back.

Also both Terry and Wally have ADHD and there's jsut. Like a connection there !

(I also headcanon Wally as only like. 20. He just. He's like the youngest and that's why he's basically the baby brother of the original league)

Terry gets to talking with Wally and Wally is all to happy to tell Terry about his adventures!! Especially the ones with Bruce hehe

They obviously start clowning on Bruce. It's over for him. No escape now!!

Wally is definitely a prankster! The harmless type not the like.. whatever you know what I mean probably!!

Anyway they both have a mischievous streak!! So clearly the best thing to do while trying to figure out how to go back is obviously pull some pranks!!

I'm super sleepy and I'll probably have more to say later but Terry and Wally definitely should become friends and hang out and drive Bruce and the rest of the League up the wall
