THE JOKER: THE JESTER KING
This is yet another design I came up with for The Joker in my spare time. This design was heavily inspired by 1970s Willy Wonka, Jack Nicholson Joker, and BTAS Joker.
Akira and Fujiko are the two latest descendants of the Fukuhara family, a generation of Japanese warriors that stretch back to the 1500s. Akira was the one who was the most dedicated to being the newest warrior in their family line, dedicated to learning the ways of Bushido, that being a warrior who has inner peace and being zen and stuff. Fujiko didn’t care about stuff like that, as she was the resident female dog of the family. She went out partying till the break of dawn and couldn’t bother with manners. Eventually, Akira was told the legend of the Swords of Order and Chaos. Thought to have been created by the gods, these two swords were so sharp, one could slice a building in half with a single slice. If the swords are brought together, they are said to be able to destroy the world. When Akira was in her mid-20s, she discovered her family was actually a yakuza crime family, and her sister was the one who had been shown the truth a while ago. Akira refused to be a part of a family that exploited and killed people without remorse, and she confronted her father about it, which ended with a fight between the two that resulted in her father’s death when he accidentally fell out of the window. Enraged, Fujiko tried to kill her sister, thinking that she was the one that killed her father. The fight ended with the manor burning down and Akira escaping with the Sword of Order. Akira then left and dedicated her life to dismantling her family’s web of crime. Using the sword of Order, she began to fight crime on the streets of New Tokyo.
LADY LOTUS: REFORMED SUPERHERO
After losing everything during the events of Assassin-Nation, Lady Lotus is imprisoned beneath Carlyle Tower in a cell in the middle of a 50 ft deep tank of water. When she finds out that Ryuko has now become the queen of New Tokyo, she feels a strange sense of satisfaction that her greatest nemesis was able to do what she could not. Realizing that she completely wasted her life, Himiko Murakami's ego finally shatters. Now left with a deep desire to fix her ways, she plans to escape and become a superhero. Her chance comes sooner than she expected when someone opens her cell and lets her escape. Unfortunately, this anonymous source isn't here to help her. It wants to destroy her. Why? Out of sheer absolute boredom. The Midas Collective is a cabal of rich assholes who meet up every month and use their infinite resources to destroy someone's life for their own amusement. Some days, it's a politician; others, it's an innocent man. This year their victim is Lady Lotus. They don't plan to kill her, they plan to destroy her entire life and then kill her. After freeing her from prison, they let her head to one of her safe houses before blowing it up with a missile. This does inspire Lotus to be heroic and save everyone caught in the blast. The Collective then kidnaps every single one of her assassins, letting Himiko know by sending her Viper wrapped in a bomb vest with a deadman's trigger. After Himiko saves Viper with the help of Mariko Murakami, they follow Viper to where the assassins are being held: in the abandoned Murakami Manor, which has been converted into a funhouse maze full of the Murakami family's sins. They find the assassins at the end of the maze strapped to the wall and rigged with bombs wired to their hearts. In 2 minutes, everyone will die. Or Himiko can kill the assassins via electrocution and save herself. Unable to choose, the assassins chose for her and kill themselves with poison capsules. All Himiko can do is cry in utter shame at the deaths of all of her surrogate children. After that, Himiko tracks down every member of the Midas Collective and exposes their crimes. Running out of people and resources, the leader, Midas, gets desperate and tries to assassinate Ryuko, but fails thanks to Himiko informing the heroes ahead of time. Himiko nearly kills him as revenge but loses the nerve when Midas cowardly begs for death to avoid going to prison. Lotus ultimately decides to spare him to prove that she truly has changed. After a long discussion, the heroes reluctantly give Lotus a chance at redemption on their time. It took a few years, but Lotus slowly managed to prove that she has what it takes to be a true hero, using her superior intellect and martial arts mastery to crack down on criminal operations across Harking City and New Tokyo. To move on from the past, Himiko makes it her goal to make Lady Lotus a force of Justice rather than Vengeance. To do so, she completely changes her design. She abandons the black and orange kimono with the red boots for a black skin-tight coat with tai chi slippers. To still retain her orange theme, she adds orange piping along her coat and pants. She also abandons the geisha makeup for black lipstick and orange eye shadow. She

This is a song I found that I think fits Tatsu Yamashiro a.k.a Katana from Beware The Batman perfectly. Give it a listen!
Heroes: Bonfire (Jackson Carlyle)
Jackson was born into one of the richest families in Harking City. His parents owned one of the biggest companies in the world, and made much of their money from building technologically advanced weapons for the government. Jackson himself was a child prodigy with a huge ego, and often went out partying around town, getting plastered and crashing cars. When he was in his mid 20s, he was invited to his father’s weapons laboratory, where his father and his team of scientists was developing a serum that when injected, gives a person superpowers based on their genetic makeup. During his tour, a group of mercenaries broke into the lab to steal the serum and use it to go on a crime spree. During the scuffle at the lab, Jackson used some of the serum on himself and got the power of fire. He took down the robbers and attempted to help his father after he was injured by the robbers, and wound up accidentally burning his father’s arm. He then allowed his mother and father to experiment on him so he could morph back into his human form. Eventually, they engineered a special chest piece that allows him the shift between being a human and a man made of fire. His parents’ company then marketed him to the public as the world’s first superhero.
