If you want an idea of how to write a story from the perspective of a neurodivergent child, listen to My Name is Lily Madwhip. It goes into her thoughts a lot, and aside from the whole clairvoyant thing, the way Lily thinks and interacts with the world around her is a good example of how being nd changes your experience with the world, especially at that age.
It's also got a good depiction of a reaction to loss and trauma, and probably the only accurate depiction of how a child would react to life in a chosen one type of role. And it's just a very interesting story.
Also the girl who narrates it has the most adorable voice.
The full series is on MrCreepyPasta's YouTube channel.
Exos have it better than anyone just because they get to drink the cool neon coolant.
