For anyone who needs to hear it, being racist does not require racist intentions. "They can't be racist because they just didn't know any better!" just... isn't how it works.
The whole race change/ethnicity change thing going on in subliminal/reality shifting/manifestation communities is racist, because it's about fetishizing and appropriating from another (often marginalized) group.
Obviously, don't dogpile children involved in this with hate, because kids generally lack the context to understand how and why these things are a problem. That said - kids do need to be educated about racism in a calm and compassionate manner, because they are still absolutely capable of perpetuating it whether they mean to or not.
DON'T PUT YOUR TRIGGERS AND/OR PHOBIAS IN YOUR WEBSITES/PINNED POSTS/BIOS/ETC. FOR EVERYONE ON THE INTERNET TO SEE. ONLY TRUSTED PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THAT INFORMATION, NOT THE WHOLE INTERNET. YOU WILL GET HURT!!! MEAN PEOPLE WILL USE IT AGAINST YOU!!!
"i can't benefit from oppressive power structures, i'm literally nice :)" is a disturbingly common sentiment on here and if u express it then i can never trust u again
Friendly reminder that sex negativity and queer liberation can never coexist. Friendly reminder that 'kink critical' rhetoric and queer liberation can never coexist. Friendly reminder that pro-censorship ideology and queer liberation can never coexist. Friendly reminder that "men are inherently evil" and other forms of essentialist radfem rhetoric can never coexist.
I mean I know a certain level of projection on fictional characters and situations is inevitable and even healthy, but sometimes you got to step back into the real world to remind yourself that Character X is not your shitty parent/abusive ex/asshole boss/bully from high school, and that people who like Character X are not personally victimizing you.
"the best way to screw jkr over is by making her characters queer!" actually. The best way to screw jkr over is to stop engaging with the property she still profits off of and read a different fucking book
Unfollow this account if you're transautistic, transadhd, any of that bullshit. (Not talking about people who're trans and autistic, talking about transid people)
"But it's how I-" No.
"You can't control how I-" No.
You are neurotypical, calling yourself an identity that is for neurodivergent people. That's fine, except when neurodivergent people tell you to stop. Then you should stop. You have no argument for not stopping.
"But self-diagnosis-" No.
There's a difference between self-diagnosing and being transautistic.
Transautistic is saying "I'm not autistic, but I feel like I should have autism, and now I'm one of you!" And then I will respond by calling you ableist and punching you in the face.
Self-diagnosing is saying "Hey. I'm not diagnosed, but if I went to a good doctor, I think they would diagnose me with autism." And then I go "Oh, what are your symptoms? I have autism, I can help."
If you think you have autism, just self diagnose.
If you want to have autism, fuck off.
just a psa
if you can and you want to be able to lift your gf then that's perfectly fine.
but for those who can't or just don't work out or just choose not to, that's fine too.
being strong isn't a requirement for being a masculine lesbian.
sure it's impressive, hot even, but again it's not a big deal to most. Hell most straight women don't necessarily expect their men to be strong or able to lift them.
making this statement bc, on tik tok, a stud went viral for not being able to lift up her girlfriend (who looked to be about 100-120lbs) and she had to have a man do it for her.
and there is a big post going around saying "why women need men"
women don't need men.
most men are not even strong either and most women even with minimal athletic capability can lift a woman of this size. and I'm glad that there are many lesbians on TikTok there to prove it.
but again, don't feel bad if you can't do it either. 🤍
do people not understand that the point of legalizing sex work is regulating sex work. so that sex workers can like, be legally protected if they experience violence and such violence can be prevented by putting legal guard rails in place. instead of our current system that leaves sex workers with no recourse or protection
I actually think is okay for lesbians and gay men to have “exceptions” when it comes to their sexuality without having to redefine themselves with a label that doesn’t fit them. A lesbian choosing to stay with their newly trans man partner doesn’t mean they have to call themselves bisexual now when they aren’t, they loved this person before and they love them now and can respect their gender but still not attracted to any other men. Same for gay men who stay with their newly trans women partners. And of course this is predicated on the assumption that all partners involved are okay with the words used! If they don’t feel invalidated and they feel respected that’s all that matters. And gender is complicated, a lesbian can love a masculine nonbinary person and still be a lesbian because their partner isn’t a man. Not to mention genderfluidity. And I think it’s okay for someone to describe their own experience as gay with an exception.
Feel free to ignore. This is my “old man yells at cloud” blog, so, let’s see where this shit goes.Qualifications aka basic biographical info: I’m a white queer adult in America and nothing else is any of your business
