this utopian canada that is portrayed by the government and the media is a lie. it's propaganda.

canadian society is not anti-racist. our government is the product of centuries of colonialism and oppression.

I know it's nice to think/pretend that everything is great here, but when you pretend that you are telling every person who has suffered under oppression and discrimination that our stories aren't real, that we are lying or exaggerating.

stop trying to convince yourself that there is equity and respect (especially for Indigenous people) on this land, and start working to make that a reality.

read up on the national centre for truth and reconciliation, and what the truth and reconciliation commission report says

learn about and donate to the unist'ot'en camp

support, donate to, and get involved with black lives matter canada

get involved with the canadian council for refugees

check out the rainbow railroad- an organization that helps LGBT+ people escape violence, oppression, and persecution

there are so many more great organizations and groups out there doing amazing work, so please if you can take the time to do some research and get involved, that would be wonderful.

Is it bad that I like this fanfic so very very much because Clarke punches Finn? I know - it is not cool to punch people but: Finn didn’t tell Clarke about Raven; he didn’t tell Raven about Clarke so Clarke ended up telling Raven; Finn set fire to a village’s food stores then executed unarmed villagers; Finn told Clarke he had performed the massacre for her; the attack delayed the grounders and sky people uniting against the mountain men

So ... on second thought, maybe I really don’t like what happened to Finn. What happened to the Peace loving dare devil of the first season?

haven’t watched the latest 100 episode and am trying so desperately not to spoil it for myself but ...

I saw a photo of Octavia in the Commander shield. I would love Octavia to become Heda but on one condition, she becomes a nightblood and takes the chip. Why, because I selfishly want Octavia to become aware of all the reasons why Lexa made certain decisions AND that Clarke argued with Lexa to save Octavia’s life. I love Octavia’s character but all character’s have their pros and cons. One aspect of Octavia’s character that I am not fond of is her harsh critique’s of Clarke and Clarke’s decisions. Octavia being forced into a leadership role, that of the Commander of all 13 clans, would force her to see that leading all the people all the time is not that easy. But hey, I have no idea what happened in 4 x12. I just saw a ton load of tumblr notifications light up my tablet last night and accidentally saw the photo.

So, if I wanted a she-ra/ adora/ catra placemat, where could I get one?
