Not sure what's up with the later reblogs (wtf is a torment nexus) but I'd like to acknowledge that India with a population of 1.4 billion (an eigth of the world's population) produces 7% of the world's CO2 emissions whereas America produces 13% of them despite having a quarter of our population. And it's not just America. Countries like France (with 100% renewable energy) are doing great with their green energy but it still produces so many emissions. And those are the better ones. So many Western countries generate so much waste too and it's all sent here. Recycle your own waste? We have enough of our own? You're not even paying us to take care of it or giving us the resources to do so??? Why are we suffering the brunt of your unsustainable development?

I plan to draw Kamala Joshi in a Nauvari sari. I feel it would suit her and hope @cassandraclare can include this in her story or maybe @cassandrajp can also draw her in this attire. I was born and raised in Mumbai so I’m very excited at the prospect of my city being included in a series I love. The Nauvari ( Nine yards of fabric) is also referred to as the Kaashta or Lugade. It is a traditional sari of the state of Maharashtra and Mumbai is the state capital. Unlike other sarees, the Nauvari is built to mirror the traditional trousers that men wore and is made to be comfortable and easy to move in. It was also the staple of the Maratha clan of fighters, which was a clan that rivalled the Mughals in power and firmly established guerrila warfare training in their soldiers. 

I hate that idiots on twitter are using the swastika as a hate symbol. I hate that Adolf dared to claim it as an Aryan symbol. It is a religious symbol used in many places in India to this day and the fact that so many people in the west either use it to spread hate or shame the Hindus who are using it (while assuming they are antisemitic to use a symbol OF THEIR OWN RELIGION) is disgusting.
