I made a lyric booklet for Inanimate Insanity!!

This was a project for my typography class, and I sort of lost control lmao— it's 44 pages, all designed and illustrated by yours truly! Just in time for the anniversary, too! (mostly) (I promise I got it done by the first, I'm just posting it late lol)

Frames from episodes I think

I’ve been thinking about what would have changed in this era of cartoons, so far I’ve thought of a few things

—Boxten and Poppy are best friends, they always seen playing together or holding hands. They’ve also been aged down to be closer to teenagers

—Glisten is a collector of all things beautiful, I’ve made him less self absorbed but he’s still kind of vain. I feel he would have been controversial because he’s so feminine, so I toned down his design and role in the show

—Sprout is a gardener and only bakes things as a hobby, Cosmo is the baker of the cast. They’re still friends but Cosmo is the one who makes the best treats

—Vee probably wouldn’t have a game show, she’s more like the really smart friend that every show needs. I think she does really like playing games with the others as a substitute for her game shows

—Looey doesn’t have self esteem issues anymore, he’s just more emotional. I don’t want to get rid of it completely, so I made Looey react more extreme at smaller things such as crying if he makes a mistake

—Shrimpo lives underwater, he’s less of a cooked shrimp and more alive. The other toons have to use a submarine or water suit to meet him, sometimes he comes out of the water. Shrimpo is also more of a character now, he’s not a bully but he’s very grumpy and angry which can come off as bullying. He might be very rude but he learns his lessen at the end
