I’m doing an experiment. Many people in my community think that OCD is a joke, and not as serious a problem as it really is. As someone with the disorder I am offended by this. Please reblog and/or comment if you have OCD of any kind so I can prove them wrong.

I didn’t know that there was a place that I could always go to laugh

I didn’t know that there was a place I could go if I ever had questions about life

I didn’t know there was a place I could go to watch people obsess over the things I obsessed over

I didn’t know there was a place where I could listen to amazing music

I didn’t know there was a place where I could find tips on style and beauty 

I didn’t know there was a place I could go to learn to new things

I didn’t know that these people existed

I didn’t know. But now I do. And I can’t imagine ever letting them go. 

So adorable!

Being able to do well in high school without having to put in much effort is actually a big disadvantage later in life.
