A lot of this is just listening to and knowing my body, but I almost religiously track my medication intake, menstrual cycle, and always take note of when I’ve gotten too little sleep. A change in any of these things could trigger a seizure. I’ve been very lucky to have a medication that has worked for me at a reasonable dose for 16 years. UNFORTUNATELY, that means I’ve been on a mood stabilizer since I hit puberty… mental health treatment is difficult now…
