excuse the quality but, i think about this scene. I’m sure it’s old news bc old fandom yada yada but to me this always read as Dib was either experimented on by Membrane when he was really little or he’s just a straight up clone and has vague memories of it and attributes it to aliens instead of his dad’s doing. So his alien obsession is basically Membrane’s fault for traumatizing him early into his life (which would make it more fucked up that Membrane just shoots him down for it). 

(Also taking a moment to appreciate how creepy Dib is lol) 

emergency commissions

So im in a bit of a pickle all of a sudden

Last night around 10pm I started feeling abdomincal pain, which ngl I just kinda ignored cause ya know, bodies are stupid. Fast forward some hours later and I’m whining/sobbing curled into a ball omw to the ER.

Surprise! I have kidney stones.

Before you ask: I’m/will be okay! Only one is really bad and the rest should be easy peasy. The morphine helps and the medicine they’re prescribing should also. But here’s the kick: I have really iffy insurance and this was a sudden, out of no where expense that I was really NOT prepared for.

Right now, I owe the hospital about $600 copay just for being admitted, not including the medicines, Iv-fluids, lab tests, cat-scan, and other equipment used. That incoming bill, as well as the other copays for the doctors they are sending me to and the prescriptions cost is a amount I don’t know will equal up yet.

So, yeah.
