They’re playing taylor swift all you was stay at the bar I’m at. My life is complete.
“But this mostly perfect life can feel a lot like being a tiger in an wildlife enclosure. It’s pretty in there, but you can’t get out. It’s peculiar to me that after all these years, I still get so anxious when I see a group of people staring, amassed outside my house, pointing, camera phones up... they could never imagine how much that feels like being hunted. And no matter how big my house is, or how many albums I sell, I’m still going to be the rabbit. Because the hunters will always outnumber me. The spectators will stand by, shaking their heads, going “That poor girl.”
But the point is.. they’re still watching. Everyone loves to watch a good hunt.
I worry for my generation and the ones after that because they will never truly experience a moment without attempting to capture it and own it. I am of the generation where you see a beautiful flower growing up through the cracks in the sidewalk, and you pick it. You take it with you to show everyone you know. Whereas I think our ancestors might come upon a beautiful flower and stop and think ‘Wow. That is really beautiful.“
Nevermind that picking a flower kills it, the same way taking a picture of a moment can ruin it altogether. They needed to possess things. They need photographic proof that they were there. They need to then post that photo online so their friends can see it. So that they can spend all day checking the comments underneath. That level of possession worries me.”

“You can want who you want, boys & boys and girls & girls.”
Should’ve been proof enough knowing that album was about moving to a new city, trying new things, reinventing, and finding her place in life.
…am I wrong? I just feel like most straight people allys or not don’t think about wanting someone of the same gender identity/ sex.
1989 came out after RED an album the integrated country and pop themes/ sounds. RED was also a gut wrenching story about being a twenty something and so much hurt, pain, heartbreak, etc. Its no surprise she wanted to reinvent her music, look, and identity in 1989–
With 1989 (TV) coming out in October, I am so excited to see this album and how it has grown now that Taylor has been able to find her place in her life and has grown more comfortable with herself. Like the seagulls on her shirt, she is ready to fly free and show us her true colors, tracks from the vault, and share this experience with us.
Sharing this slightly more detailed information about the hairpins being dropped!! By the one and only LEXA — on of my favorite tik tok gaylor theorists!
I think the progression of this bit during The Last Great American Dynasty has been super interesting. Starting with small interactions and evolving overtime to more flirtatious and exuberant reactions! I couldn’t help but to notice.
What do y’all think?
taylorswift we need a recipe for these please! 🍪🍪🍪
Still not over Taylor Swift saying that the LGBTQIA is something that represents her in ME! on Miss Americana.
There’s literally no other way to interpret that. Not a single straight person has said that ever.
NICE!
Also I’m so sorry for being lowkey inactive school is kicking my ass I’m so busy but that’s what I get….
He's in the room, Your opal eyes are all I wish to see. He wants what's only yours…
…What would he do if he found us out?
