“I imagine they’ll suss out any lost party goers, just have to use their nose as bloodhounds for the bloodbags that are still trapped in the castle.” It’s a dark and disgusting way to refer to the party goers but Sabina has always prided herself in her general disregard for social niceties. “For tonight, we’re allowed to go wherever we want. Is there any mirrors you’d recommend stepping through?” She doesn’t know if she’d take the recommendation, she loves to take chances just to see what’ll happen but she does not trust Eladrin and doesn’t believe that they won’t send her to the otherworld as another attempt at the changeling army.

...

“And what if they don’t until it is too late? Castles are a rather dangerous thing,” she points out with a sigh, eyeing the mirrors both with interest and wariness alike. Robin would be fine no matter where the mirrors lead, but she had seen more than one mortal amongst the guests and the poor dears would likely unlucky enough to cross the mirror into a predatory vampire or something of the like. At the least, she has to make sure that the mortal which Aurora calls family does not step into the room. He seems like the sort that would be unlucky enough to accidentally become someone’s meal. “I haven’t gone through any myself, I am currently fighting my curiosity to do just so. I haven’t been in Rome in years so I don’t know whether to risk it or not. Any suggestions from your side?”

"Now you are bragging," she huffs in amusement before nodding in acquiescence to the silent order. She is capable enough as it is, but it is far better if she allows herself some time to recuperate before they join back into the Titan form. "I will attempt to find Zahrya with the aid of my rotted ones, and I will bring him this way if I do."

Rolling her shoulders, she begins walking away from Aurora, turning her head to the side and waving over her shoulder.

"Me? Die? Please, I am far too stubborn to rest before the job is done. Autumn does not rest until the harvest has been set away for the Winter, and we are not there yet, are we Chancellor?" She asks with a laugh as she turns a corner and her changeling begin falling into step next to her. She leaves Aurora behind with hope on her heart, hope that she will soon see extinguished.

"Now You Are Bragging," She Huffs In Amusement Before Nodding In Acquiescence To The Silent Order. She

"Not at all," Aurora declared calmly. She would die in this city like her children did if she had to; it was that determination to win and keep their families alive which was the anthem likely singing in each eladrin and elven heart that day. If there's was a hopeless battle than they wouldn't know for sure until they all failed to try to use every bit of what they had to win. Pessimism haunted the elf but she wouldn't let it make her falter.

"Recharge your magic, Chancellor, I will be right here fighting until its done." Though she doubted that one like Robin would stand still until that moment; Aurora only hoped that her old friend remained safe while she worked her blade through these hordes. "One favor: don't die before we make the drow queen pay for this. I'll kill you if you do." While it was meant as a light tease the words themselves were a dark truth. Every drow that was unlike Aegnor or Andruil would perish.

"It is a pleasure to be graced by your presence, Ruler of the Nine Bows," Robin says with an inclination of her head to defer respect. He is not her King, but she does revere his role on the cycle of life so she gives him more respect than she affords to most other Aspects wandering across Rome. "I do apologize, as I had not been confirmed by the Holt and there were no Royal fey conscious at the time, I did not see fit to invite individuals that had not previously sworn to the crown. I would not wanted to offend at the implication that you needed to vow loyalty for an invitation, but I assure you that next year you shall be welcome to our festivities," she assures him voice calm and understanding. It had been rather dissatisfying, to have such a small autumn solstice, but she had thought it prudent not to invite anyone to the Forest without a King to maintain the barriers. "If the Courts survive what it is to come, I assure you that you will always you have a place at my table. I will even endeavor to convince the other Chancellor's to invite you to their festivities."

It is a rather long shot and she doesn't expect anything out of it, as she is not attempting to convince him of anything, merely being honest about her desire to encourage his continued presence in her life and her court.

A quick laugh escapes her lips and Robin shrugs.

"Unfortunately yes, but I am considering trying to invite Mery for the next dinner in hopes he will convince his cat sidhe to come with him," she admits with a glimmer of amusement on her eyes.

"It Is A Pleasure To Be Graced By Your Presence, Ruler Of The Nine Bows," Robin Says With An Inclination

It was so nice to be welcomed, usually when people summoned him it was either because they wanted something, or because they were trying to trick him or trap him. Thanatos didn't want to get into Sisyphus, that man had it all coming. Worse. The audacity, nobody got to cancel death but Death.

"Chancellor." Thanatos greeted, she missed several dozen of his epithets but the effort was there and he could appreciate everything that had been laid before him. There was often confusion on his preferences, violent sacrifices and murder weren't to his taste: quite the opposite, he preferred a peaceful end to a brutal one. The natural course as it was often intended. "I couldn't help but notice my invite to your equinox festivities was absent," so insulting, but it was fine he was used to it. He sat and plucked a biscuit, opening it and spreading it with honey: what a delight. Quite thoughtful, Thanatos was pleased though his demeanour wouldn't have revealed as much. "Is it just us this evening?" He glanced towards the canine sprite, not even a single cat present.

"Autumn is quite alluring, is it not?" Robin replies with a delight as she takes her time taking in the drow's appearance. There is no denying that he quite suits his clothes, his mask adding a particular allure to the entire ensemble. Bringing her class of champagne to her lips, she drinks slowly while maintaining eye contact, a grin decorating her lips as she brings the glass down. She can't quite remember why she should be avoiding drows, not when easy flirtations are fun. "Although, I have to say that is not quite as alluring as the tall, dark, and handsome."

"You know, I was a spring fey back in my last life," Severon said, sparking up a conversation with the gorgeous looking woman in garb that screamed autumn. It reminded him of Yavie. And the more he thought of it, the more strange it seemed that he was speaking to any fey that wasn't that little noble but there he was. He couldn't seem to remember why he shouldn't be speaking to her. Severon had always been a fan of flirtation. "But I've got to say, I'm acquiring an affinity for autumn."

"Rhovanor," Robin Greets With Delight. It Has Been Quite Some Time Since She Had Seen Her Fellow Fall

"Rhovanor," Robin greets with delight. It has been quite some time since she had seen her fellow Fall Eladrin and she had been wondering where he had been. The funny thing is, she doesn't remember why she had been wondering about him. Funny in the most curious way, settling on her gut heavily for a moment, with something that almost seemed like worry— Until it was swiped away by the delight and excitement of the festivities. Taking a step forward, she falls into the hug with ease, enjoying the presence of yet another one of her people coming to greet her. "I have been well," she says, even as Wade's face pops into her head for no reason. "How have you been? Where have you been? We haven't seen each other for a long while, and I do miss our chats."

It was good to see his former chancellor around. There'd been instances in which Rhovanor was grateful for Robin's continuous support, remembered her no doubt important role within the Autumn court and the way he'd looked up to her -- all of which faded in comparison to the loyalty he experienced nowadays. Still, he'd have to show his gratitude towards her tonight. "Chancellor Goodfellow, I'm so happy to see you," he was, already visible by the way he approached her. One tight hug followed, his face pressed against the curve of her neck, just keeping himself in there for a bit. "How have you been? It's been some time, truly."

A low whistle leaves Wade, drumming his hands on the table as if it would aid him in formulating any response or retort of comfort. He’s at a loss, he’s not entirely familiar with fey business, never really had to concern himself with them before. Robin had dished out all he needed to know, how they were capricious but relatively harmless at the end of the day and merely, much like everyone, solely out for their own kinds survival. From what Wade had gathered, it seemed the fey simply wanted to be left to their own devices, but he knew such sentiment could not encompass the entirety of the species and that was where betrayal and shit became a dark and slippery slope. “Robin, you ain’t gonna have some target on your back for bein’ forced to take some chick’s job, are you?” Well, a larger target then the one she inherently created considering her own age and ability to meddle. “And how come you didn’t come to me about all that?” Being hunted, it allows him to recall the moment they first met when he’d almost jabbed her with his fucking iron switchblade under the false pretense that she was a demon. How far they’d come since then and though this was no time to condemn her when she appeared so emotionally wounded and fragile, Wade had felt almost offended at the idea that she would have rather faced such problem by herself. He can be a bit thick headed and even through his concern for Robin and his mild offense he still can’t rouse the obvious fact that she was trying to poke at the elephant in the room, his affiliations with a certain group that hunted all supernaturals.

...

Wadecalhoun:

“Wade, dearest, I have had a target on my back for years, my new role has merely increased other parties’ interest,” she begins, voice slow and deliberate as she reaches for the warmth of her drink and raises it to her lips to take a long and silent sip. There is an eternity of legends and stories behind her worries, the fear of the dark that her kind carries woven into her very essence with the knowledge of the drows that will never stop hunting them. Worry circles her chest, weights her tongue as she speaks, even as fondness shines through. Even as she wants to reach and bring him closer, even as she wants to reach out and hope. He is worried, before all, he is concerned. And yet,  Robin knows Wade. Has known him since he attempted to kill her, believing her a demon and nothing else. Dearest as he is to her, she knows him enough of his faults to know that he had not caught her indirect. The desire to reach out, the hope, does not fade, but her loyalty to her people prevails and tentative thoughts turn into tentative words. It’s like walking up to the precipice, the knowledge that if she pushes she might not get an answer that she wants. Robin doesn’t know if she can handle the truth for herself, doesn’t know if she can handle another betrayal. If it were for her and her alone, she would not continue. But the truth is not for her satisfaction, not for her peace of mind: the truth is to protect those she has sworn to defend. “If it’s not the Eye, it’s the drows, shadow creatures wearing the faces of those we once loved. My kind’s very existence is in danger, and I do not know who to trust. I cannot bring anyone I care for into this, I cannot bring you into this Wade, not when my kinds protection is not your cross to bear.”
