Furby shenanigans

Didn’t think I’d be updating my total Furby count twice today, but here we are!

Their names are: (left to right) Gogurt, Wild card, Bubblebath, and Disco.

i know this thing from model painting and stuff but it’d come in handy for anyone whos having trouble with repainting furby beaks/eyes too! if you’re using acrylics and don’t want to get those streaky brush stroke marks on your finished thing, here’s what to do:

water your paint down! get it nice and runny. this may seem counterproductive because then it’s all thin and drippy but you gotta believe!!

it takes some patience, but just put on one really thin layer at a time. its ok if it looks too wet and is only pooling in the cracks right now.

it is extremely crucial that you let it dry between each layer! i know it’s hard but just be patient, ok? i promise its gonna be great!

keep adding layers until it looks good! once you’re happy with the coverage you should have a really nice and smooth paint job! congrats!

went to the Will Wood Halloween concert. the band just started playing Luigi’s Mansion and everyone proceeded to mosh extremely hard to it and form a dance circle. this went on for several minutes and it was magical I can die happy

It is with great pleasure that I announce the acquirement of 3 McFurbies.

so I'm moving apartments in a couple weeks and after I told the landlord we weren't gonna renew our lease I started getting a bunch of emails from the building's real estate agent because of course they can't wait 2 weeks to start trying to sell the place again and she wants to do showings of our place. which I would theoretically be fine with. except this is the view you get upon entering my apartment

and I can only imagine how many potential renters this would scare off
