Those are reblogs with additions. When you reblog a post, you can either leave it blank, or include your own words / art / gifs / tags / whatever. Comments are a little more private. Usually only the OP will see your comments, or others who like writing / reading comments.

Reblogging is like you deciding to jump publically on stage (no need for performance anxiety, there's no pressure, we're all mostly silly clowns anyway!), and comments are like going backstage to chat with the ringleader.

Somewhere in the middle is only leaving tags on a post. That's like whispering on stage, or calling out from the audience where most people can't hear you. But if they're silly / relevant enough, sometimes your tags will be screenshotted and added to the post (or peer-reviewed, as we call it) by the OP or some other reblogger, so you'll have a microphone pushed in your face, or get pulled on stage against your will. XD
