A little thought about mermaids

I like to feed into the fantasy that some of us are of decedents the sea. From when humans took mermaids or sirens as lovers. So after generations only a few traits in modern day time remain. It’s the reason why as a child you might have looked up many mermaid spells. Each more absurd than the last. You want to return to the sea.

I like to pretend that I am a mermaid or descendent from one. It makes me feel more magical in the mundane moments of this life.
