She felt his thumb stroking her cheek, removing her trace of sadness, brushing her hair, dropping the only sword he could keep during the battle, putting his right arm around her waist, deepening the kiss as her left hand stayed between his cheek and his neck. They broke the kiss at the same time, his eyes closed, trying to steal XANA’s control on himself.

“Yumi…” he mentioned, softly.
