Too hard to pick a favourite. I dive into his books when I want to visit my friends there depending on my mood.
I savour every reread. There is always a layer more to discover. More kindness and understanding wrapped in wonderfully weird fantasy stories. Another joke to chortle at.
Looking forward to enjoying many more years of reading Terry Pratchett.
On what would have been Terry's 76th birthday, we are filling today with Pratchett joy and invite you to join us.
We'd love to see your routes through Discworld on the #terry pratchett day tag - you can download images to share your favourite books and recommended place to start in Discworld via terrypratchett.com.
You can also find recipes from Nanny Ogg, templates to recreate your own favourite Discworld cover, and ways to get involved for all ages. Whether online or offline, we hope your day is full of Pratchett magic!
Cheers to the fact that we get an ending, however it may end (please don't break our hearts)
If you want a specific movie or tv show please request them. I'll do my best to get the posters all out. :)
"Those who think listening isn't an art should see if they can do it half as well." - Michael Ende, Momo
Momo, also known as The Grey Gentlemen or The Men in Grey, is a fantasy novel by Michael Ende. The novel was published on January 1973.
“Calendars and clocks exist to measure time, but that signifies little because we all know that an hour can seem as eternity or pass in a flash, according to how we spend it.”
Michael Ende, Momo
A movement launched by French illustrators to fight the new obsession with chatgpt-generated "starter packs" made me want to join their fight.
Because every day, AI steals, destroys, and makes artists invisible.
Every person who enjoys and uses this "prompt" creates terrible pollution.
Because big brands like Ikea have appropriated this prompt instead of paying a designer.
Support artists and the No AI Starter Pack movement.

WE ARE HIRING
Are you flexible, sneaky and persistent? We are expanding because of resounding success of THE summer. Our team is looking for another sun stealer. Either morning or evening shift. You will be working together with our dynamic team in an agile environment stealing sun time.
Secondary benefits: extensive health plan (vitamin D), extra holiday days in winter, big bonus if you obtain more sun without the southern hemisphere noticing…

Why the fuck are all the songs in the world about these two idiots?!
My two cents (or a farthing) in putting together a breakup divorce temporary separation playlist for the ineffable husbands. I think Crowley and Aziraphale will both vehemently deny getting teary-eyed at some of the lyrics, or in Crowley's case bawling along drunk 'Sshtay with me-e-ee'.
I have faith that these angelic entities, who have been through so much together, will find each other stumbling through some major fuck ups and will end up together again. Holding hands at least. The playlist starts out with some serious heartache and pain and morphs more into hope and faith at the end. With a nightingale.
