My own adventure turned out to be quite different.
My new year’s resolution is a far more selfish one than last year. It is to make my motto, eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow, you may be dead.

I love Louis for canonically being like "no I can't hurt humans 🥺 all life is precious and i am but an irredeemable monster for extinguishing a single one 🥺🥺" and yet he thirsts only for the biggest fucking psychopaths on earth. He sees a man drenched in the blood of someone he's just eaten and gets heart eyes. He murdered my daughter? I can change him. Morals are hard but dick is harder.

Loustat + Avalanche, by Zola Jesus
"Avalanche" really makes me think of Lestat's first look at Louis - when he immediately fell - but also about his heartbreak and "post-Nicki" lonely period. Waiting for a hundred years to try to love a companion again, fully aware that everything might crumble at some point but still knowing that Louis was THAT PERSON he wanted it to finally work with, THAT PERSON to spend a thousand nights with, a hundred thousand...
"And I knew it would be you, coming at me like you do. And it all falls down. It all comes around."
This is a really special song and hopefully I'll be posting this edit video very soon.
