Except that you’re beating the hell outta yourself. Is that a compliment or an insult?
sigh… fine, I’ll do it myself
@shyranno gave me the idea from one of their the Bad Batch: Downtime comics that Crosshair might have saved Omega in s1e16 out of love for Hunter, and not because he felt like he owed the kid. Somebody else, I can’t recall who though, convinced me of it with their interpretation of the scene: they said that Crosshair was preparing to stun Hunter to prevent him from trying to rescue the drowning child. He just happened to be able to see her and was able to reach her with his cable.
Anyone who knows anything about water rescue knows you’re not supposed to go in after a drowning person. You’re supposed to throw them a floatation device, especially in deep water. The reason for this is because the excess weight can drag you under as well, and their struggling can prevent you from swimming. Both people more than likely end up drowning.
So I think Crosshair, despite caring enough for Omega to want her safe from the impending fight between himself and his brothers, wasn’t planning on rescuing her from the ocean. It was a coincidence. And this piece came from my desire to see Hunter concede to Crosshair’s point that Omega is in danger as long as she is with the Batch. It might not be as much danger as if they’d left her on Kamino, or with the Lawquaines, but she is still in danger.
It’s also an excuse to indulge in a little Hunter hugging Omega properly, because that’s clearly not gonna happen in cannon anytime soon 😂
Working on something sad. Some recent… experiences have informed Peggy and König’s story
It was one of my most popular pieces, so I figured I’d add actual lineart and color :)
shhh pretend im not here so early in da morning
But i recently came across this (instagram) and couldn’t help but think of papa!könig and baby peggy 🥹🥹
Sometimes König just needs a little extra weight for his workout. And if it makes Peggy laugh, then that’s a happy coincidence (he definitely doesn’t do it because he loves to make her laugh. Nope!)
Terrible Google Translate translation: “Snail is helping with the training!”
Here's some chemistry to help you get through chemistry. Good luck.
You have no idea how happy this made me!!
The final is on Tuesday and I am starting to feel the burnout. I’ve been working 8 hours every day and then coming home and doing chemistry for another five, and I’ve been doing 8-10 hour studying on Saturdays and Sundays. So waking up to you message this morning before I got to work on the final review absolutely made my day! I came back to look at it on my breaks and thought about it when I started getting frustrated. Thank you so much for thinking about me. It was so sweet and kind and I appreciate you so much!!! I hope you don’t mind hugging because I really, really wanna give you one!
Also, good choice of molecule! I could certainly use some dopamine rn T0T
Big brother don’t even need two hands :)
Introducing: König’s Oma!!!
Peggy loves her, but König sometimes isn’t sure it’s a good idea to leave Peggy with her on longer deployments…
Translation (again, google translate. Please don’t get me TOT)
Hello, my grandson (bübchen is a nickname that means “little boy”)
Hello Oma. Did you encourage my daughter to put a snake down her classmate’s shirt?
Yes, as a joke…
Inktober day 7: Peggy might need more than her passport to make it to her new home… she might need a stepping stool too
Translation for the German: “Oma! I think I might’ve lost her in the airport! What do I do??” (Again, I used google translate. I’m sorry of it’s terrible!)
writers shouldn't need to go on strike – but when we do, we're funny as fuck.
some of my personal faves, taken from a longer twitter thread by jenny yang. learn more about the strike here.
A place for me to share my art as I learn how to draw digitally! (Apparently it’s important to share your age on this website now. I’m uncomfortable about posting my exact age online, but I am mid-twenties to early thirties. Don’t come at me, my joints ache)
