My first (semi)serious attempt at Crosshair. I think it’s going well!
Yes I know the big bowie knives aren’t meant for fighting. There’s a good reason I picked it, I promise!!
Hippity-hoppity, this puddle boutta be destroyed by Omega’s velocity!!!
Look how happy he is!!! @tbbs-best-hair can’t he keep them? Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaassseee??? 🥺
Wrecker covered in tooka kittens! Pure joy ❤
I can’t be the only one who wants to know what “NO” is….
I love looking through my drawing files because you have the boring ones like “untitled” or “hand practice” or “jack of spades” but then you have the ridiculous ones like “vulture bitch™️” or “templequisitor” or my personal favourite, “NO”
re-drawing a Bad Batch scene a day until season 3 comes out (or i forget): day 7
Thank you so much!! It’s an honor that you’ll let me use it!! I appreciate it so much!!!
I don’t intend to trace anything. It’s more about the way you paint him, as well as a little in his face shape, which I struggle with. Do you mind if I post WIP pictures with the references in them? I will credit you in every post with your art in it, of course, and in the finished pieces
Hey, I really, really love the way you draw Crosshair, and I was wondering if it would be alright if I saved some of your pieces and used them as style reference? I can’t quite describe what it is about the way you draw him, but it makes him look really physical and… gritty? I’m struggling for the right adjectives here. I just really like how you draw him and I wanna try and emulate it a little in my art
First of all, thank you! I’m glad you like my crosshair ❤️
Second, sure I don’t see why not! I’d just ask you to not trace my art or if you heavily reference from it to credit me. I’m happy to help if you need more resources
Finished the polished sketch!! I’m super happy with how this turned out!
The runes on the armband mean “bear” and “protection”, as translated by a friend of mine who has studied ancient Norse runes. They’re awesome, but I don’t know if they have an account to tag.
The skull is that of a Eurasian brown bear, and yes, they really are that big.
Okay, but hear me out…
What if Tech survived the fall, and got imprisoned on Tantiss, and somehow managed to find his way to Crosshair and Omega?
What if when he got there Omega absolutely lost it, clung onto him and refused to let go, but Crosshair just stared at the ceiling and refused to acknowledge him?
What if he was so haunted by the thought of his brothers that he just assumed the real, living Tech was another hallucination? What if he won’t let himself hope that Tech genuinely survived because he’s been tricked by his own mind before?
What if Hemlock tortured him so much that he doesn’t know what’s real any more?
This has been bothering me. I know people have responded saying that you act in a motherly way towards the Batch and towards Omega. I think they are looking at it almost in a “group mom” way. You are someone who acts as a voice of reason, and takes care of the others’ needs like food and play and cleaning.
The thing is: those aren’t inherently motherly traits. Yes many moms do them, but many dads do too. And many people who are neither moms nor dads. It’s just plain, ole caring for someone else’s welfare.
So while understandable that the traits are associated with motherhood and femininity because often our society downplays the nurturing role of the father, people should recognize that they are also fatherly and masculine characteristics. A man is equally capable of caring for his friends and family’s physical needs as he is for their emotional needs. It doesn’t detract from his masculinity if he is emotionally vulnerable to his people. And it doesn’t detract from his masculinity if he wants to give them a better quality of life because he loves them.
I love how the og batch are that “manwhore, mansplain, manipulate, and manslaughter” meme
Manwhore: Hunter
Mansplain: Tech
Manipulate: Wrecker
Manslaughter: Crosshair
Before anyone says Wrecker is manslaughter, look at this face
He’s got manipulate in the bag
A place for me to share my art as I learn how to draw digitally! (Apparently it’s important to share your age on this website now. I’m uncomfortable about posting my exact age online, but I am mid-twenties to early thirties. Don’t come at me, my joints ache)
