Ascension Update

Figured this update was long overdue from my post a couple weeks ago regarding Ascension’s status currently. I have gone back through and updated up until chapter twenty three for continuity fixes as well as canon updates to the story. Chapter twenty eight is in the works, and I’ve been writing a bit more than I have been. My current situation is...complicated bc of everything going on at the moment, so I have no idea if I can continue to be consistent in any way, shape, or form. Here’s to hoping though!

Also a reminder that the company who owns Scooby-Doo, Warner Bros. Discovery, recently:

Laid off countless staff

Is likely doing more layoffs we don’t even know about

Cancel completed projects to get tax breaks

Removed countless animated series with no warning and without telling the staff

Is being sued for inflating HBO Max user numbers by Tens-Of-Millions

Turned beloved IPs (The Matrix/Harley Quinn/etc) into NFTs

Is STILL making “Bad Wizard Lady” projects

AND SO MUCH MORE!

I wonder, really, if the staff who made the most recent Scooby-Doo movie where Velma is a lesbian were even paid properly or even still have their JOBS…

UPDATE!!!

Ok guys, they won. they won with 8 millions of votes. but don’t be fooled. Today the polling places were empty, and at 3pm only 1 million of people voted (less than the 2%) My cousin told me that they use information of DEATH PEOPLEto gain votes.

Ten countries don’t recognize this election. Was a fraud election. And the only thing that need matter is the fact that 15 PEOPLE WERE KILLED TODAY, and two of them were just TEENAGERS (13 and 17 years old)

one woman was FIRED of her work for doesn’t go to vote (according to her family, she was an amazing employed). People have crossed the border with Colombia to not stay here

The president is talking now, he’s saying that “the socialism won” that “no one motherfucker (talking about the people who are opposed to this) is going to rule here”. Things are going to be worse.

If you want to help, pray for us. go to the embassies of Venezuela in your countries and don’t recognize this government, this election

No fic needs sex to be good. A good fic should be able to stand on its own without it, and there are so many talented authors that I know who won’t touch the topic simply because it dilutes the initial story.

I'm trying to prove a point to my brain: Reblog if you think fanfiction does not need sex to be good.

There is a trend I’ve noticed that smut fics tend to be much more popular than anything else and honestly I just want to have something to look at to remind myself and that writing doesn’t have to have sex to be worth putting out into the community.
