During my trip in Florida, been mostly verbal because of verbal masking. Been exhausted speaking, cuz it takes lots of energy. Want to use my AAC but fear of being judged and criticized. Not feel safe to unmask and so been verbal to comply to others verbal commands. Working really hard to say words and sentences correctly and it’s very stressful. Don’t want to do this anymore and just not speak and use AAC. Wish family was patient and accepting.

hello white therian folk please for the love of everything, third post i’ve had to make, STOP spelling out and putting a certain cannibal based native creature name on my dash. i block freely but also it’s just so ignorant and it really is starting to piss me off. it’s not that hard. native people have consistently asked yall to stop even outside the therian / otherkin community. it is not ✨ aesthetic ✨ or harmless. it genuinely makes folk uncomfy, and it is a part of a CLOSED CULTURE you are not entitled to. especially when you’re white. and you clearly haven’t done any research on the true meaning of this being, or what it symbolizes. it’s not some cannibalcore gender identity. you can still actively contribute to racism and ignorance and you don’t get to renounce whiteness just because you are an animal. just like how i don’t get to ignore the privileges of being white passing. or that i still have/had to unlearn systematic racism that we are all a part of and have been exposed to.

it’s so annoying seeing it happen all the time. i shouldn’t have to worry about participating in my community as much as the next creature.

How can you have watched all those videos of ICE kidnapping racialized people, especially Latino immigrants, the police murdering Black people, and DHS disappearing Arabs and Muslims, and still think that as long as racialized people obey the law, the police and other law enforcement cannot touch you bc 'it's too much of a nuisance for the police to write you up for a fine', like, hello, if you are a member of a racialized group deemed criminal, illegal, or terrorists, they do not need just cause to harm, kidnap, or even kill you.
