I feel the need to collect stuff like this. If anybody has more I'd really appreciate it. Kyriarchy can feel like an inescapable weight at times, but it's important to remember that most people only continue this way because they believe it has to be. In Japan, transgender people can only legally change their gender if they have had gender reassignment surgery. The woman in this court case was apparently unable to do so due to health reasons.
