sorry, but i genuinely fail to see how the vast majority of these (and a lot of the ones i see in the replies and reblogs) are bad or even remotely weird. I wouldn't bat an eye at a brooklyn, hayden, reese, zoë, jaxon, london or thor and i don't exactly relate to this unless it's like, extremely common names or voweless incomprehensible names or blantatly inappropriate one. i dunno

Please Help Me Beat Cancer

Hi, my name is Darcy. Back in March 2018, I was diagnosed with Stage 3A lung cancer. They almost immediately started chemo and radiation therapy. It appeared to shrink the tumour at first. With the shrinkage of the tumour, I qualified for immunotherapy, which is only in the trial stages in Canada.

Here’s where everything went downhill. About 2 months ago, my liver levels went out of control. They (the doctors) found out that the immunotherapy was causing my liver to fail. It’s called autoimmune hepatitis. I am the only one in the study to have this side effect.

About a week ago, I went for a full body MRI and it revealed that I have 11 tumours on my brain. The next day, they started radiation to treat what’s on the brain and prevent it from spreading even further. They are ordering a PET scan to see where else the cancer may have spread. I have been told to prepare for the worst but hope that a miracle happens. My oncologist and I refuse to give up, even though my chances are slim.

Our family is really struggling to get by as I have not yet been accepted to disability and my wife is unable to work due to a car accident we both were in. She received a settlement but whatever we get goes to our rent ($1,350/month as it is hard to find anything cheaper in Toronto in a decent neighbourhood), our phone and cable bill, food, hydro and parking.

Because of my recent diagnosis of brain cancer, they will be revoking my license soon. This means we will be forced to take taxis to and from the cancer centre every weekday. This comes in at a cost of $30 per trip. So if any of you could dig deep and spare a dollar or so, we would be forever grateful.

Hi, I’m Danneil John Flores (22 years Old) and I’m asking some donations for my sister’s condition since me and my parents are incapable of supporting her right now and most of my savings are all dried out now. Both of my parents does not have a stable Job, my father is just a pedicab driver and my mother is a housewife. I had a job way back a year ago. I can’t find a job in here since I’m the only one who can do the labors of getting her oxygen refilled daily and also in case of some emergencies, luckily right now (Sept 2019) I was selected to join a free course study of Tesda which can help me get a job! Thank God! Me and my family are also trying to start a small business so that we can also sustain on our own.

I am disabled, but it’s become debilitating in the last few years which has made it hard to find work, and disability is hard to get and takes usually 2-4 years at the soonest.

I am not eating really because I have no money.

I have no money. Like, none.

Rent is due in 4 days. It is 805 dollars I don’t have.

My electric was due 2 days ago. My air conditioning will likely be turned off because I don’t have the money for it, which could lead to hospitalization or death for someone like me.

Please help me it’s my birthday on August 8th and I’d like to not die before then.

I am my own support system I have really nobody I can lean on in this hard time.
