Urgent !!! - Help Two Trans Men Not get Locked Out of their Shelter as one Recovers from Top Surgery - Cab Fare Needed 🚕

My husband is currently in the hostipal ( for his top surgery that was fortunately to be completely covered by insurance ) and will stay at the hostipal for the next 24 hours. Unfortunately, I can’t stay the night with him at the hostipal because I have to go back to the shelter where we live to sign for the bed to ensure our place. If I don’t sign for the bed we WILL be locked out. Anyone mind sparing money for the 3 trips I will need to go home and come back to pick him up and bring him home. While doing well he can barely walk much less walk up the 5 flights he’d need to alone.

Each trip to between the shelter, in the Bronx to the hostipal in lower Manhattan is $45-50 dollars. I need to make 3 trips so a total of $150 would be deeply appreciated.

Hi, I’m Danneil John Flores (22 years Old) and I’m asking some donations for my sister’s condition since me and my parents are incapable of supporting her right now and most of my savings are all dried out now. Both of my parents does not have a stable Job, my father is just a pedicab driver and my mother is a housewife. I had a job way back a year ago. I can’t find a job in here since I’m the only one who can do the labors of getting her oxygen refilled daily and also in case of some emergencies, luckily right now (Sept 2019) I was selected to join a free course study of Tesda which can help me get a job! Thank God! Me and my family are also trying to start a small business so that we can also sustain on our own.

Most of the Donations from February 2019 to this day have been all put in good use. We already have repaired her room and put an AC on it since the doctor advise us. Also aside from that the money goes to our family needs, her check ups and medicines.

Us at the Batwa Indigenous Development Organisation (BIDO) have done our best to organize to help her, and with the help of our friends and donors abroad, we have paid for her...

Arinaitwe Gerald, an Batwa indigenous organizer I talk to regularly who lives in southwestern Uganda, is currently having trouble providing for orphaned children he and his wife have taken in in addition to their own children after their mother passed away a bit over a month ago.

One of the children, a 12 year old girl named Immaculate, is in serious pain due to having a cyst caused by goiter. She had been recommended for surgery all the way back in October, but because $700 is nowhere near an amount her late mother or Gerald and his wife can afford, she has still not gotten the treatment she needs and they are even having difficulty getting the $85 needed for an injection that would potentially help decrease the pain and size of the cyst temporarily.

Please spread this fundraiser and donate if possible! Immaculate and her siblings, as well as the Batwa people at large need all the help they can get, and no 12 year old should have to go through all that she is currently dealing with.
