Ik this is a super bad time to make this but i really need help

We have no money, and still have $600 left in bills and no food. We went to the food bank but that didnt give us much save for rice and snacks. I’m disabled and cant get a job at this point in time.

I lay in bed and I hear my sister crying in the bathroom and it breaks my heart. I failed to help her. She has no money to pay for bills, she has no money to take her son to the dentist or buy him new shoes. She sleep on the floor in my bedroom for five months now because she just doesn’t have any place to go.

She told me today that she keep thinking about killing herself.

I saw signal boosts where people asked for money because they wanted to go to Disneyland or they wanted to visit their friend in another state. And they got tons of donations. I’m not saying that you can’t raise money for less serious things. But I see my sister who has nothing at all right now and wonder why everyone ignore my asks for help. No one owns me money of course. That’s not what I’m saying. It just would be nice if some nice person or two send a few dollars. You would make a single mother and her son happy.

A FRIEND OF HER WHO IS A MECHANIC SAID THAT THIS CAR BELONGS ON THE JUNK YARD NOW. IT WOULD BE TOO EXPENSIVE TO REPAIR HIM. SO NOW MY SISTER IS WITHOUR A JOB, MONEY AND THE CAR. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE AND YOU KNOW POLISH YOU CAN READ IT HERE.

I urge some of y'all to check out some of the original soundtrack themes of Fighting is Magic from 2011-12. because those songs, especially Applejack's and Twilight's themes imo, were absolute bona-fide bops and i hope for them not to be forgotten, mlp fan or no.

I haven’t had to make one of these posts in a while, but I have to go across country for a work trip and I don’t know what the pay situation is for when I’m there/get back, and I have to pay for the hotel room, food, transportation etc. and before that I have to help my dad with some of his expenses. So basically what I’m saying is if you want to help me so that this week isn’t As Stressful I’d really appreciate it. Reblogs are just as helpful. Once this week passes things will go back to normal, promise.

Hey why do you think CN always imports shows from Canada. Why don't they usually import relatively higher quality French animated shows. It worked for Code Lyoko and Totally Spies so why not something like Wakfu or the upcoming Miraculous Ladybug. I don't think it would cause much more either.

I believe since Canada cartoons speak English. If they import French than they have to worry about dubbing.

Hoi!! I saw a little bit of the process on your Instagram, but could you explain how you go about making a pattern? I absolutely love how that neato cactus/desert one you did turned out!

Alrighty!

So to make a repeating pattern: 

1. Open a canvas and draw in the center WITHOUT touching any of the edges. 

2. [Below: Light cyan lines] Divide your canvas into four equal parts.

Make four guides framing the canvas, and two across the middle. 

For the ones in the middle, View > New Guide > Horizontal or Vertical for needed orientation > type in 50% to get the exact middle of your canvas. These are photoshop shortcuts, may be different on your programs. 

3. [Above: Yellow arrows] Make sureyou have ‘Snap’ checked under View > Snap, then select each quarter of your piece > layer via cut > move diagonally to the other side.  

After you’re done moving things diagonally, you can either turn off Snap so your doodling won’t stick to the center lines, or toggle the guide visibility off (Ctrl+;). Merge the layers back together. 

4. Draw in the middle without touching the borders, color the entire thing if you plan on doing that.

5. Setting your image as a pattern After your image is done, merge all layers into one > select the entire canvas (Ctrl+A) > Edit > Define Pattern

Open a new canvas bigger than the one you made the pattern on, and paint bucket it in! (Instead of the Foreground button at the top when paint bucket is active, select Pattern then your pattern)

If you aren’t using a program that lets you define patterns, merge everything into one layer and duplicate & tile them manually.

I work at a daycare with infants.

One of our baby girls is fat, in the 99th percentile for her age. She is super cute and sweet. Lately, she has been sick with various breathing issues, so she has been reluctant to take her bottles. Normally, she’ll take 4 ounces of formula at lunch and 8 ounces in the afternoon. Today, I was lucky to get to her take 5 all day.

There was a substitute covering a lunch break in my classroom today. We emphasized to her that we need to keep trying to get the baby to drink her bottle until she finished it. She said, “Why are you guys so worried about taking her bottle?”

My coworker replied, “That’s where all her nutrients are. She needs the nutrients and the water.”

To which the substitute replied, “But she’s so fat. She doesn’t need it.”

Thin privilege is a small, pretty baby getting better childcare because the caretaker doesn’t think she’s too fat to be allowed to eat.
