Cybertronians is armadillos…
Do Cybertronians have both an exoskeleton (their plating and kibble) and an endoskeleton (the supportive structure that allows them to move but is not the stuff directly under the plating)? Is there a classification for organisms with both kinds of skeletons?
I love when you can look at a species name and instantly obtain useful information about the species just from the name. Like for example the American Cockroach, Periplaneta americana, just from the name you can instantly tell that it's a species native to America? Africa. Oh and the German cockroach, Blattella germanica, which is clearly (as indicated by the name) native to Asia. And who could forget the Australian cockroach, Periplaneta australasiae, clearly native to Aus- oh wait that one's native to Africa too?
Yes! On sketchfab, there is a nice fan-made model by Tami_Taoli. Since it isn't official, there might be some inaccuracies, but I think it looks pretty spot on, and even has Laserbeak properly labeled in there <3 Here: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/soundwave-tfp-fanmodel-rigged-c72b2a731d2f4bdfa41a99586c877627
There's also models from the game that float around, and here's one also on Sketchfab: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/transformers-prime-soundwave-c0616dcf1ded4800ab654d54660b7036
The game models are less useful for accurate, geometric reference in my opinion. I'll show you what I mean --
These models are very simple and low-poly, and you lose a lot of information without their textures. But! Because the textures themselves are accurate, they're useful for color picking, or just overall reference! Here's the unwrapped textures for you, if you need them.
Might be obvious, but I open/use everything in blender. I live there, actually. Blender won't let me leave. Hopefully this was helpful! :D
Does anyone have a good model/rig for tfp Soundwave? I want to do art of him but I can never find any to use to move around as references ;_;
Also took me two seconds. Please, these regulations are crucial for our safety.
We have 30 days until the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) laws are rescinded. This is the 50-year bedrock of American conservation. Normally, these actions take years but the administration has provided 30 days for public comment gutting clean water and clean air. Drop what you’re doing, before you make any more calls or read any more social media posts, please populate the Federal Register with dissent.
A. Go to https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2025/02/25/2025-03014/removal-of-national-environmental-policy-act-implementing-regulations
B. Click on the green rectangle in the upper right corner ("SUBMIT A PUBLIC COMMENT") .
