The Butterfly Nebula, created by a dying star, was captured by the Hubble Space Telescope in this spectacular image. Observations were taken over a more complete spectrum of light, helping researchers better understand the “wings'' of gas bursting out from its center. The nebula’s dying central star has become exceptionally hot, shining ultraviolet light brightly over the butterfly’s wings and causing the gas to glow.

so yall know how its a widely accepted fanon thing that elliott is an actual merman? so what if willy was like “damn i wish i had kids” and then just/?? during or after a bad storm or something he nets lil baby merman elliott?? and hes like “oh shit well... gotta raise this kid, gotta move somewhere rural so the government doesnt find out” so he sails his lil boat to stardew valley, raises baby merman elliot while letting him stay in the ocean or in the back room with his fishing boat when it gets cold cause he cant grow legs or anything. maybe elliott is like “damn i wanna spend more time with me dad, (and like, write me thoughts out on paper cause I can’t do that whenever I want to underwater”) so he talks to the wizard on the night of the moonlit jellies one year- andd he’s like, “legs!! i need legs so I can see me dad!!!” and the wizard’s like “sure m8″ and then elliott just WALKS ON UP and HE CAN FINALLY HUG HIS DAD, AND- AND WILLY BUILDS HIM A CABIN AND THEY HANG OUT EVERY DAY AND PLAY CARDS AND HE BRINGS HIM SHELLS AND PEARLS AND LOBSTER FROM THE BOTTOM ABD THEY GO TO THE SALOON AND GET BEERS AND HE LEARNS THE PIANO AND JUST
