for some reason middle aged comic fans coming on the internet to defend their decision as to why they thought a twelve year old should have died or lived is so funny đđđ
Being physically and emotionl abused by his own mother that forced him into fight her for years, just because he wanted to know of his father.
Having to see how one of his teachers got blind by others and gave him the option to save him but instead he would recieved the punishment.
Being groomed into make a cultural genocide.
Being brainwashed by his grandparent and mother.
Having to kill people since he was like 3-4 years old and being exposed to extreme violence.
Being constantly sick and having to replace his organs because how hurt he used to get in the league.
Being shot 5 times and almost get paralyzed, then his mother put him a metal spine and tried to control him to kill his special person.
His mother sent assasins and put a price on his head and then sent a older evil clone of himself to him.
He died.
He went to the hell.
He came back.
Then he died. Again. But just for a seconds this time.
Have a good time in this part, had his brother, grandpa, make new friends and meet his best friend.
His father neglect him a lot. But still, pretty peaceful, until his favorite older brother got shot and get amnesia and then something happend and see how his grandapa got killed in front of him.
All of this make him leave the mantle of robin, thinking that it didn't work since his favorite people in the world got hurt.
Ah. His best friend aged up and kinda become a different person that he used to know.
His father ignored and neglect him when he cried in front of him and blame himself.
He started having hallucinations.
He died again, twice.
He finally started healing with his other family and then he saw his other grandpa got killed in front of him x2
His father is an asshole to him.
He realize he has another brother, he started to getting along with his father again but still tense.
He wanted to help his new brother but then he found out that he got killed by his mother's assasins.
It's kinda concerning how long this list is tbh. And I know a lot of these things related with Talia and Bruce sre kinds controversy but I am not talking about if they are good or bad parents, I am talking about Damian's perception snd that's all.
I am not a Talia or Bruce stan, I focus on Damian manily but a lot of these people used Damian as a way to slaughter one of these two characters and it's stupid.
i think im obsessed with helia and riven my boys are just so đđđđ do you have more headcanons about them đđđ
Theyâre both quiet people, so they enjoy quality time with each other in peace (Ex: Hugging each other on the couch while watching something, only talking to each other a few times.
Riven: *gets mad*/ Helia: Are you done with your temper tantrum yet?/ Riven: No >:( / *they both try to work out their emotion with each other*
Helia just knows random stuff about space ships and wind riders after being with Riven for a while and assisting him in fixing some vehicles.
âWow! Howâd you know that was the reason why the Wind Rider wasnât working?â âOh justâŚsomething I knew.â *flashback to Riven explaining a whole essay about how wind riders work to Helia*
Related with previous statement, they share moments where Helia does a minor mistake and Riven gets mad over it. Like if Helia isnât holding the flashlight at the right angle while Riven is fixing something in the dark, he gets mad đđđ
Theyâre the pretty couple who seem bad ass on the outside but are actually a decent couple who understand and treat each other as human beings.
Somewhat related but I think it was Winx Comic #22 or #23 where Riven assumes that Helia only got punished after a mission failed was because if Saladin didnât put that punishment onto Helia, people would think that he was Saladinâs favorite out of all the Red Fountain students and that Saladin plays favorites. Imagine after dating Helia for a while, Riven gets to know Saladin more and actually gets a parental figure in his life.
I forgot I had this joke. In some countries, thereâs a pizza service called Dominoâs. Bloomâs Planet is called Domino. Put that together (She probably made pizza the national dishđ/ I guess thatâs why they change the planetâs name to Sparxs??? I get it if you donât understand since your country probably doesnât have Dominoâs Pizza or you only know the 4Kids Dub)
Now, Iâm not saying romantic relationships are inferior, or that theyâre useless, or that you being in one or that you shipping some characters romantically is Bad or something off the walls like that. What Iâm saying is that two people (or characters, since weâre talking shipping here) can be just as devoted to each other, love each other just as deeply, mean just as much to each other while being in a platonic relationship. The end point of caring about someone doesnât have to be romance.
Friendship isnât a stepping stone between strangers and romantic partners, itâs a different path. And you can follow that path as deep into the wood as a romantic one if you want, and neither is inferior to the other, they just have different views.
What a fierce cat
Hello! Just passing by and asking your opinion on Robin 2021! You don't have to answer but I was wondering your thoughts on the run was since it finished back in 2022 and I saw your post back in 2021 where you just dropped the series.
If you did answer a question similar to mine then you can just post the link. I thought the idea of the story was cool but it didn't work out much and Damian was somewhat OOC in that story :/ thanks for answering if you do <3!
Hi! Eh...Robin 2021 is...okay. Like Williamson is clearly not going in the direction of the previous story (baby Hitler Damian) but it didn't truly do anything I cared about either. Williamson is just not the writer for truly interesting concepts and he's turning even unusual characters like Damian into fairly generic ones. I get that this lead to new people starting to like Damian, but as someone who liked Damian because he wasn't generic/typically relateable I lost interest pretty quickly and haven't regained it since.
There is a reason why I haven't said much for weeks. I kind of lost interest and don't see anything on the horizon that could pull me back in. If people like to see "relatable" teenage Damian that's their right, good for them, but I don't really care anymore.
