Artificial Intelligence (AI) has shown a tremendous transformation in healthcare, education, manufacturing, and almost all other sectors. AI products are gradually infiltrating homes and workplaces. This is raising concerns regarding the effects of AI on the job market; ArtificiaI Intelligence is transforming the lives and is only scaling the human mind and not replacing it.
Let’s have a look at Top Technologies To Watch Out In 2019
Research clearly shows that highly engaged employees are good for business. Employees who feel connected to their employer are more productive, generate more revenues, and help the company thrive.
But did you know that IT can contribute to this success? According to new research from IDC, companies that develop a strong relationship between IT and the lines of business can measurably increase corporate performance.
IDC compared two types of enterprises: those where IT proactively worked with the business and those that did not cultivate a close relationship. Over three years, the companies with the strong IT-business connection achieved:

Many small and medium-sized organisations have been affected by it and have paid ransoms because they did not back up their data and did not have an option to recover it as well. Many times organisations have, or they are forced out of business.
The most affected industry is healthcare as hospitals have to pay ransom if they did not back up the patient data as they need to retrieve the data promptly to access records of patients who require immediate care.

This year, we’re celebrating a Year of Education on the Station as astronauts and former teachers Joe Acaba and Ricky Arnold have made the International Space Station their home. While aboard, they have been sharing their love of science, technology, engineering and math, along with their passion for teaching. With the Year of Education on the Station is coming to a close, here are some of the highlights from students speaking to the #TeacherOnBoard from across the country!
“The loss of Challenger not only affected a generation of school teachers but also a generation of school children who are now adults.” Ricky’s personal mission was to bring the Challenger Mission full circle and give it a sense of closure by teaching Christa’s Lost Lessons. See some of Christa’s Lost Lessons here.
The concept of surface tension is very apparent on the space station. Fluids do not spill out, they stick to each other. Cool fact: you can drink your fluids from the palm of your hand if you wanted to! Take a look at this demonstration that talks a little more about tension.
The use of bungee cords as well as hook and loop help keep things in place in a microgravity environment. These two items can be found on the space station and on the astronaut’s clothing! Their pants often have hook and loop so they can keep things nearby if they need to be using their hands for something else.
Being an effective communicator and having the ability to be adaptable are great skills to have as a teacher and as an astronaut. Joe Acaba has found that these skills have assisted him in his professional development.
The exercises that astronauts do aboard the space station help them maintain their bone density and muscle mass. They have access to resistance training through ARED (Advanced Resistive Exercise Device) which is a weight machine and for cardio, there is a bicycle and treadmill available to keep up with their physical activity.

The banking industry has seen huge innovations in recent years with the use of technology. To satisfy the demands of the customers, banks are looking for new ways to interact with them and provide better customer satisfaction. Blockchain technology is changing the process of banking along with the concept of game theory to meet customer needs.
Baking as a Service (Baas) is an innovative concept that takes the customer experience to a new level. It has no any restrictions like traditional banking. In today’s era, customers are in need of anywhere anytime transactions, beyond the regular working hours of the banks.
There is a need for open collaboration since customers are looking for a more open network and shared technologies. Collaboration and consolidation is the key to BaaS. This flexibility of the BaaS model will enable banks to integrate blockchain solutions to solve the issues in the banking sector.

The next breakthrough for Cyber Command’s Unified Platform program will be a fully built software factory, a platform for consolidating applications and inventing new tools. This will help integrate and deploy analytical capabilities for the cyber mission force.
Besides consolidating, the platform will standardize the variety of big data tools used by Cyber Command and its subordinate organizations, including the Defense Information Systems Agency. The common platform will allow organizations to easily share information and build tools that can be used across the service cyber components leading to greater interoperability.

When AR and VR are integrated into the existing range of applications, rather than working on a single product, these technologies revolutionize the entire industry.
VR technology creates a virtual environment where users can interact using their mobile devices such as VR glasses. AR technology presents the virtual objects in the natural environment. For instance, VR glasses can be used to display information regarding something in the user’s field of vision.
Listed below are seven industries which are likely to be affected first by these two technologies: https://goo.gl/YvgmMs
